Stopped liking SaiRat around the time of Sam return but stopped rooting for SaiRat altogether and hated V when illegal surrogacy happens and V made Sai feel guilty instead of caring 2 hoots about her. And i had the last straw when he called her orphan, bojh and she walked out. Just like Sai , I had enough. Post leap i have watched only for Sai not for Sairat.

Uh this.. it felt like she was obligated to feel that way..Everyone around her forced her..i keep cribbing about how Sai needed someone to truly guide her .she just had Chavans.

To me I never hated any character! I look them as the part of the story. Story goes through highs and lows especially when it is presented as a life journey.

So if we go by that there are few phases which were really draining to watch. They are episodic for me.
1. I didn’t like virat ousting sai in the middle of the night. It is the first black mark for virat.
2. second black mark for virat is episode 546 where he expressed his desire to make pakhi the surrogate. More than surrogacy I disliked this virat.
3. Him marrying (using) pakhi for adoption. I can never forgive him for that.

These 3 are Low phases in the story and I didn’t like them. However they redefined the story and introduced necessary conflicts

Sai was always consistent and her life has so many up and downs. I never disliked her in any phase. I only wanted her to see things better. Only wanted to shake her up sometimes 😅

1. Sruthi track

2. Marriage with Sathya

both are decisions taken in haste! But that’s sai for you.

I always liked the story of ghum. 👍 and rooted for siarat because their life is dictated by others and situations. 😭 more than themselves.

From the beginning, I have had issues with Virat's behavior. But I understood some of the times where he was coming from. There were times I felt Sai was immature and over the board as well. I was genuinely rooting for Sairat. I thought with time, they will develop more understanding.

Then Ajinkya happened and the accident. That was the first irreparable damage to V's character. After Mahabaleshwar track, it went down hill. I stopped watching continuously. Suurogacy track .... I would have beaten Virat black and blue had I been in Sai's place.

I appreciate acting but for me story matters. If the storyline is good, even if the actors are not upto the mark, I will still watch. If story is pathetic, no amount of chemistry can make me root for them.

His rude behaviour post Anniversary was OTT to me yes... but I still found something in it.. I am one of the few who has liked MiMo... that's my fav track.. probably because I joined late and that was the first track which was playing in real time for me... so the excitement of what happens next was too high.

Shruti track aftermath was horrible. Didn't get the extended grumpiness and a complete flip in one episode for V.

Like you even I wanted a private proposal. .. this was too public.. but the SaiRat chemistry made it up for a bit.

Surrogacy was the worst. 😭. Cannot get over few instances (episode 546 when V agreed for P to be surrogate) and then the ousting. 😔. Haven't watched the delivery episode coz I found it too cringe.

Post leap V is better since Jan... but he has a long way to go for getting redemption 🙄

That said... to me it's a saiRat story and in the end a properly redeemed V with Sai would be watchable for me.

Thanks for the tag 👍🏼

I have stopped seeing characters as characters! This was actually from a very long time but now it is quite blatant

Completely agree, I started watching this series only for sai. She is a different character I have ever seen in TV. I never felt she is wrong in any track. Just to WW some characters she has been shown wrong or low IMO.

I still wanted sairat only for 2 reasons:

1. Sai still loves virat

2. For kids.

But still ok if she wants to move on, I just want Sai and kids to be happy.

Bang on. Post-Anniversary behavior is where it all started going downhill. Then, Shruti track was the first real awful track and they made it worst when Virat was whitewashed and Sai was made to woo him back 🤢

He was distasteful post-anniversary. I think that's where I started to slowly dislike him. Yes, the reunion post that was satisfying ! It was perfect, actually. Unfortunately, they went ahead with the Shruti track and there was no going back.

I loved loved loved second holi and all, only because of the hot content being served LOLOL.

Baaki, post Jaggu, yeah no..let's not even go there 😆

The story was slowly butchered scene by scene. So many milestones forgotten and what not. So many established things scrapped.

(And Mimo track contributed a lot to the whole disinterest. Don't hate me for saying both actors were OTT)

What made me lose more interest was the fact that from anniversary track i knew Virat is gonna get more toxic and Sai kept on accepting.. The way she was manipulated by Ashwini it made me feel so upset and hurt and you know angry..

And i gave up completely during Holika Dahan, the abuse she went through , from everyone, too much physical abuse when Virat saved Sai and was in danger was too much for me to take..with no addressing and after all of that they forced Sai falling in love . Virat was wrong in Shruti track as well, but everything was forgotten the moment truth came out and from there i kinda knew..it thrives on toxicity.

@bold: Ashwini really was a snake all along, wasn't she? I mean, she was the one who sided with Sai against Virat, and said that she will side with the right, and not the wrong, and when the 'misunderstandings' were cleared, suddenly it was all Sai's fault? Like woman...what are you smoking here? Sai never forced them to throw Virat out, she never forced them to believe that Virat is cheating one her (which he kinds was if you think about it), they all themselves only developed that opinion, then how was it all Sai's fault?

Plus, how else is a wife suppose to behave when she learns that her husband has literally registered himself as husband and father of some other woman and some other child...in OFFICIAL DOCUMENT?!!

Though I didn't like KD characters much, but I do agree that Leenaji wrote a very captivating story, with all kinds of twists and turns, and the twists and turns made sense, unlike here where everyone is simply changing their characters to fit to the 'story'.

I don't think the makers themselves know what they are doing. I feel like Ghum was running on some kind of trp inertia, where people were watching it just because they have been watching for a long time. I don't think even the trp audience enjoyed all their weird tracks.
