It has already been clarified, Amba wasn't aware that the man she was having an affair with was married. Satya clarified that. So clealy, she wasn't to be blamed.

Bhavani probably held only Amba responsible for what happened, i.e her getting pregnant with the married man's child, and cut off ties with her.

And now that she'll come to know Satya is her sister's son, she'll think her sister has used her son and plotted against her.

Amba should stand strong infront of her. She isn't alone. She has her son by her side and now there is Sai also. I don't think Sai will allow that vile woman to spit venom on her MIL.

@bold yes it was clarified later but maybe bk has cut her ties with amba before even knowing the whole truth.Not siding with bk but maybe she has some other issues with her like amba being a lavni dancer but bk herself as queen of england
