It's the strange eyebrow fillout and the highlighter. The highlighter is just so so tacky the way it's over applied. I'm often distracted by it even after all these episodes. Like you mentioned it's almost caricature like.
She looked lovely on walima, then in that pink dress. I feel she has at minimum 2 makeup artist.
The combination of the large filledout eyebrows sagging downwards, the highlighter all over the face and the foundation being patchy can obviously make one seem old or older than they are. More than that it makes ones brain register that something is off.
Yumna is such a genuine person and looks doesn't matter one bit. But if we were to talk about looks did anyone see her in bakhtawr? She has the most flawless baby faced skin!
TB should have done no foundation highlighter and gone with muted lipsticks and a signature meerab eyeliner that would be hers only all the time. Simple and done.
Even the hair is not all that.
And even with how annoying and faulty they tried to make meerab we understood her and empathised as we should and a huge part of it goes to yumna for making it work against all odds.
He makeup and hair really bothered me. I find her very beautiful at baseline. She looks best with the middle part and curtain bags. She looked so nice in the recent coffee scene by pool side and even in the precap where she’s wearing pink. Another time she looked really nice was in that purple blue dress the next day of kidnapping in the village. The side part with course curls/waves that are sprayed in place when her hair is jet black was my least favorite look. The makeup was chalky and excessive as well. It seems like she must have had at least 3 makeup artists.
