I agree with you on the same problem I used to have and still have. When you read subtitles you lose the disconnect with the acting. You are so concentrated on reading the subtitles you are not paying attention to the actors and in arguments the subtitles can go by so fast so you can't connect with the characters. You have to watch a show multiple times to fully appreciate the nuances. Once you have years of experience on you, you will get better at reading emotions when reading subtitles.

Dubbed is worst because it kills the emotions. The voice doesn't match the actors and it ruins the scenes. You can't translate Korean idioms in hindi or english they don't mean the same thing. For example in Korea saying 'I like you' is very important it might not mean I love you, but it is still very special it is supposed to grab your heart. But saying I like you in english or hindi doesn't have any emotional impact on you because it doesn't mean the same thing in our language, you are left wondering wait that's is it, you just like me it kills the scenes. So korean romantic dramas scenes dubbed just don't work.

I didn't like secret garden when I first started watched it, but now I have seen it some sooooo many times I know the dialogues so I just see their faces and can really just appreciate the acting and not be distracted with subtitles.

My cousin has watched korean drama for decades now, she has trained her brain she probably understands more than 50% of the language, and once you get most of the language you can really enjoy the show.

That’s true. I will miss their bedroom and the dressing table in the nook where they look at eachother from the mirror 😭

I won’t miss Murtasim brushing his beard though … that weirds me out a bit 😂 but the man can’t be perfect I guess.https://twitter.com/justyoonhi/status/1652064668666540032?s=46&t=V2mT-DctogLM7xf_uELgzw

We can't lump everyone in one group. Twitter gang is a huge audience, not everyone will think the same. Can we accurately measure what the majority are thinking, and even if they get what they want we will suddenly want the opposite that is human nature. You want what you can't have, but when you have it you don't want it no more.

Just look at me I am confused, do I really want 4 episodes a week hmmmmmmm I think I do, but maybe not I can't make up my mind.

Even on these forums TBA are not the same page.

We will get what we get, what will happen will happen, we have no control

Successful shows who are run by competent people don't rely on fans opinions, honestly we are the worst decision makers we are emotional don't see the bigger picture. And if we run a show it won't be professional it will become fan fiction.

A well written show will give us what we need not what we want.

Lets just hope there is something in it for everybody to end this journey on a high note

I think it's more about the overdose and perhaps wrapping up the show in haste. 2 episodes a week has got people obsessed and the drama trending almost every day, imagine the state of us if it's 4 days a week until it ends 😆

2 days a week is a healthy balance for those that are addicted like me 🤪😆
