I have watched both the movies. Unfortunately, almost all of the movies these days in Bollywood are remakes. I enjoyed certain aspects of LSC, specifically Kareena's acting and the music and am glad to see that is being appreciated. As a Punjabi, I was not impressed by Aamir's acting specifically, the diction. Kareena was easily the best thing, her character had layers and she was able to portray that convincingly.

Also, the music definitely deserves awards, it is pretty underrated.

Ok good for you but TBH no one can beat Forrest gump as it's the iconic Hollywood movie of 90s

Never said that LSC "beat out" Forrest Gump. Not sure why you are so defensive.

Coz they remaked an Oscar winning movie this is not good if they remaked an unknown movie like flipped i never had a problem but remake a movie which won best picture and best actor at oscar 1995 is like ruining a legacy and if you're gonna say that aashiqui 2 is a remake of the 70s version of ASIB they remaked it because at that time no one watched the 70s version of ASIB But Remaking A movie that has won oscar + almost everyone watched it through ott is not good like audience will say that oh this scene is copying and so on
