Viaan had a traumatic childhood. Where did the trauma go? He might be shoving it under the carpet while dealing with his mother, but otherwise where did it go? That trauma was what pushed him to be extremely successful. To be on his toes, always alert.
And now they show him reading books, walking the slowest walk, plenty of staring, making innuendos, and no longer on top of where they are on the projects! Not to mention discussing his love life and buying stuff to a little kid. Trauma doesn’t disappear, it doesn’t let you trust easily and it definitely doesn’t let you accept the one thing you don’t believe in as easily. It is such a battle to come to terms with and then overcome it. So yes, they should have brought that passion to his journey- of realizing, struggle and eventually accepting being in love, and then further.

Nope, definitely not well done.

loved what you wrote here.

I have been on other drama forums where people have discussed the impact of growing up in a home where cheating occured. nothing about their journey to healing was quick or easy. as one lady put it, she would never gotten married if she hadn't learned how to forgive her father and to put the past behind her.

so while it may seem like just a drama, just a forum, intense love stories do bring out such open honest sharing and that in turn helps other members who are struggling with something similar. in that sense, the makers really did a disservice to viewers by making it seem like viaan was magically cured just because he fell in love.

if this was EK style show, I would laugh at the brain transplant and abrupt story changes. but the makers tried to sell us this sensitive thoughtful drama at the onset. then obviously, we will also expect those kind of writing when it comes to addressing viaan's trauama and his journey to heal and how it impacts his love life. definitely not well done.

There is another part to this- how the general population is influenced by what they see and follow. Stalking is ok, staring is ok, constantly seeking out the person one is in love with is ok, disregarding the uncomfortable feelings in the person because one’s love is pure, because they are happy, because they feel free, that love erases all trauma, seeing the world with rose-tinted eyes is not the right message to send out. The world is not even half as nice as it used to be. It will not get any nicer either.

Hi everyone 😍😍

Thanks for the tag ❤️❤️❤️🌹

Well i just have one question respectfully because i don't understand the equation?! 🤔

1.As i'm a fan of both this forum along with twitter app

I used to scroll both of them since i started to watch this show and read many divserse opinions with excitement.

Why always you think people at twitter are under-aged or less experienced?? Bacause they have different perspective of the show or in other means they are still enjoying the show and praising it and seeing it still very well writter just like me 🤣❤️

I think it's their opinions and it doesn't respresent a problem as much as they are enjoying it ( I mean the puropose of shows is mainly entertainment)

And let me introduce to you that i'm one of twitter fans and i'm in mid-thirities 🤣🙈💙

working professional and enjoying the show up to date!!

I think in my humble opinion it's about subjective taste right? and we agree to disagree respectfully.

2. To me my different perspective is that i don't think viaan lost his character because he was masked with his agreesiveness as a result of his past trauma and wrong perspective about women and after the dark night and the revelation he became another version of himself (as he said during shamita's case) and he doesn't need to remain the same old self as what is the impact of his ridiculous offer of ONS and this whole story if he didn't change and the pain of regretting

MY FINAL CONCLUSION:

As i said earlier it's not about LOVE changed viaan

His story with katha and his prejuidce which turned to be totally disgusting and ridiculous is what changed him and turning him to a person who could LOVE

I also know people in real life have what we called (turing point) when they totally changed after a painful experience!

And away from reality we have seen many even villians turned into good ones and regretting their actions as fictional characters.

3. I have talked many times about the ONS and i think they handled it very well compared to the original or arabic version where eventually i think it will remain shading their life

I respect all your different perspective from mine and i can understand what do you all want ❤️🌹 but still seeing something different doesn't mean the others are wrong. (maybe many members have stopped watching the show because it doesn't match their taste any longer but that doesn't mean that no one would enjoy the show from the remaining fans)

Finally i don't want the show to end any time soon because I'm addicted to it till now

Thanks again for the tag

Good points you talked about

Yeah this trauma made him very successful person like robot with no emotions and with no personal life.

Actually he was very successful because he has no other choice than being in work when even his mother wasn't here for him emotionally

It's something like a prison when you don't know how to get out of it!

That's why i said in the last reply that katha FREED and RESCUED viaan (it's not about romantic love)

And what actually changed him wasn't love it was his complete shock of how disgusting this trauma controlled him to a degree he made prejudices to women like he had with katha then after that change (during his redemption shown after truth revealed till now) he could be able to express his love feelings (which i could say they have been suppressed long ago)

As he said in his confession i haven't been happy like that since my childhood.

About batman robin yeah i know all of us have different critics to this relationship as i said my take was about katha never meeting robin or being curious about him and also.she missed her child tournament ( i think after revelation of this track she would be guilty about this)

But from viaan POV i see his childhood trauma actually contributing to a part of him being attached to araav and wanting to provide sorts of help to him as he never been in the same situation as a child.

Also something else which away from this show

I never believe thay any of the shows i have ever watched are meant to give me something beneifical or that i should have a message behind them

I always believed that the purpose of any show is a profit to the producers (no actors or producers or channels aiming to have bettrr world through their industry) and entertainment to the viewers this is me individual concept about shows or movies that they would never impact me other than they entertained me ( i never give much importance to the show instead my personal experiences are the one that brought me up) but yeah i could agree that the new social media generation depending on other wrong ways in bringing up.

I hope that my discussions here don't irritate any of you because i'm enjoying it and hoping for the same from your side 💚🌹

kekeke... people on birdie do sound very young for the most part. 😂

but yea, I think we will know in a month or so when the ending date is. some think it might go on till august. I dont' think there is enough plot to even stretch it till then. lets see. I do hope the ending is smoothly written. otherwise, another drama is always around the corner. 🤷

people tend to have rosy eyed view on love in general but if you watch crime shows, you will change your mind. the number of crimes that happen in the name of love is staggering. it really makes your head spin how people will choose to murder their spouse in order to marry their lover instead of just getting a divorce. but thats a topic for another day.

but yea, I wish the drama showed a different mature way of showing viaan's love and affection for katha -- not so much like a teenager. oh well. 🤷

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I don't know if you are permenant memeber at twitter or not 😂😂💚🌹

But I have many friends with the same age range there and all celebrities are there 😅

But let's me agree with you that i consider it to some extent a toxic place 😂

And by the way fans of the show also criticize events here yeah praising the show dominates the situation but still there is critic

I want to tell you something that i used to be a fan of your interpretation about the show

To be more clear the opinion of yours along with many here ( idon't remember names) are the main reason for me to addict the show so i'm the big loser here after you lost interest in the show 😅🤣💔

I still remind how you analyzed the scene where katha infurited against viaan when he kicked the loafers harrased her at night

And i used to scroll all your opinions before my bedtime and after long work day which was my biggest habit 😂❤️

So now i have to only scroll birdie land 😂🐦

Well i still have some hope that the show will continue and may be you all may regain your excitement again 😎

awww, thats sweet of you to say shimo

I don't have birdie account and generally when I peek into birdie land about any dramas, my reaction is more like this:

What Is That GIFs | Tenor

🤣🤣🤣

but yea I miss all the old forum members who are no longer active here. the initial days were super entertaining. but it happens. people lose interest and move on. even for me, I am tempted to drop this drama altogether. I might at some point just disappear if another more entertaining drama drops in my radar. for now, time pass!

Sapno ki chhalang is a good show Mango you can try it

It doesn't have a ML and the FL seems to be real/normal ,is shown to be making mistakes

Her struggles are really relatable
