Vicky in a pivotal role in SRK's next? - Page 2

Ranbir Kapoor is nothing short of brilliant in the film, but Vicky Kaushal almost steals the spotlight with a superb performance as Kamlesh. Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt is below par while the women in the film barely have anything to do.

Everyone, after coming out of the theatre was awed by RK’s performance and how he TOTALLY transformed into Dutt. In fact, Sanju is the biggest proof that those who think that just because someone like Vicky is not a big star and not that good looking, he automatically becomes a better actor than big stars like RK are wrong. Cuz RK totally owned that movie. Also, Vicky is still doing side roles??

Clearly, Vicky doesn't mind doing side roles. He has no insecurity when he knows he can steal all the limelight even with side roles! 😆

Right. Ppl shud realise that RK and KK are happy with their respective partners. Yeh he's average.. and he gives a reasonable performance also.

I would say better than reasonable. although I have not seen all his movies yet. But we can agree to disagree. Lol !

Lol. I have seen just the one i believe, as i now barely watch hindi movies. I think the new genre of films doesn't suit my taste. But i. am waiting for the 2nd part of that boat film desperately.

Ok, if this is real, this is huge. I am excited for Dunki and Vicky in it and with SRK is HUGE!!!

I am not going to lie, in first viewing, I was entirely focused on Ranbir just getting Sanju correct right to the T, but second viewing mein Sanju got problematic and I started watching Vicky and he felt so real, i did a digging and got to know he was a combination of some 5 friends of Dutt, which means he got more liberty to explore himself than RK. RK was brilliant and I really think it was HIS movie, but all because of Hirani, Hirani knew what and how he had to get every shot because he had to redesign Dutt's image, and it worked brilliantly. (He is a good director) but every scene in which Vicky was hurt, it was enough for me to hate Sanju, despite what the narrative trying to do the opposite. Also, they are good friends offscreen, I never get why people can't just move on from the fact that Kat married someone, what was she supposed to do? Break her bangles while RK-Alia have a happy marriage?

And why do people hate him for his looks, India ki 80% abaadi aisi hi dikhti hai, we are average looking people, heck, even BW people born to gorgeous people can be average, unko bhi surgeries lagti hai, so maybe stop with the classist and racist comments based on looks, not cool anymore.

Actually he has many movies lined up ! 😆

Some of them like Dhunki among others are not even listed here. But they do list seven movies where he is the lead. He has even more movies signed where he is playing the lead.

Honestly, I can see people stating their opinion. Oh he is attractive, not so attractive or average. But some pretend he doesn't deserve to be doing movies because of his looks. I mean despite being tremendously talented? That sentiment I just do not understand.

And you are right, Katrina was going to marry someone. If not looks they would have found some other fault in him.
