The frequency of romantic scenes. We just don't get as many scenes
The way it is shot and directed. The shot lingers.
Old scenes look elevated, new and different. Just compare gajra scene in TB with gajra scenes in Mushkil and Chupke Chupke. Wahi gajra pehnana aur haath pakarna - all three have it. But the one in TB hits differently. The way it is set up, shot, the actor's expressions - Wahaj's hand movements look choreographed like a dance movement than just pedestrian haath pakarna.

Mushkil mein hug scene bhi tha. I think they also got good amount of romantic scene.
