The Eid release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan has taken a fair start on the day before Eid. the opening in the morning is actually the fourth best post the pandemic after Pathaan, Brahmastra and Sooryavanshi which have been the only films to take what you can call proper initials. Now whether the first day collections of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actually turn out the fourth best post the pandemic is another story as other films benefitted from holidays and ran faster in current due to the holiday.

The opening should have been better if the film is looked from the view it is a Salman Khan starrer as 20 crore nett was a given for day one for his films before the pandemic. But things have changed now as the scale and grandness of film also matters to get the a reluctant audience out to the cinemas and that is not there here in the film.

The opening is better in some pockets and Nizam / Andhra seems to be looking at a good opening day number despite it being Pre Eid. There will be mass pockets hit due to the film releasing the day before Eid but they should make up the shortfall and more over the weekend as the holiday period starts.

Although the opening day number will probably not meet the industry expectations which are not correct anyway it will will be good enough to give the film a chance to work if the Eid crowd which comes out tomorrow likes the film. Also the holiday growth is not like before when you had a ready crowd on festivals so the doubling up is also dependent on the film.
