If you look at it, from a realistic perspective, isn't she actually relatable? Her husband left her- a spouse is someone whose place cannot be taken at all, and this has lead to her victim complex. Without her even knowing, her mind and heart play tricks to make her feel as the victim at any situation that isn't favourable towards her- but aren't humans that way too? They will involuntarily play victim when a fear is instilled in their heart- in Sushee's case, losing someone close to her heart.

I have to give it to the actress playing Susheela too. She's damn good.👏 She made us dislike Susheela. She made us understand her to an extent, too.

and currently when she's good to DT, she's still very much likeable. Most so called toxic people don't feel good when they turn goody good. Sushi is relatable and sweet like that. We can empathise with her.

And I like how she didn't turn good out of the blue. It's the unexpected turn of events that lead to her realisation, then redemption.

And one more thing I really liked was that she didn't let her ego get the better of her and did actually apologise to Tara for her actions and showed regret to it as well.

I feel Susheela is still quite selfish that way. She was in the mode Preeti hi banegi humari bahu, iski tareefe ab main kitni hi karu when she wanted Dhruv to get married to her but took no time to step into rehne do na ab, dimag ke jagah kaddu bhale hi na ho, lekin shabdo mein karela zaroor dikhega tumko.

Why? Because directly or indirectly, Preeti was the reason she was about to go to the jail.

On the other hand, Tara has always been a nice one. Everyone could see that apart from Susheela. How come she suddenly sees Tara's heart of gold? Because she protected her from the jail thing.

Tum duniya ke sabse acche insaan hi kyun na ho, hum to tumhe bura hi manenge,

Bas ek baar humare kaam aa jao, fir dekho tumhe kaise dushta se farishte mein promote kar denge

😆

When I watched that show I legit hated Rono for entangling so many lives but one could understand that at that moment he really felt his love was eternal and he'll never be able to love someone else. It's like you know he's wrong but on some level feel pity for him as well.

Ghum is not worth talking about anyway. That's the worst I have seen in ITV. The absolute worst. I understand what you are saying. Isn't that how villains work? We cannot justify their acts but we do end up sympathizing them for a minute or two. If you have watched Ratsasan, you'll know Christopher was sick and absolutely unforgivable but when they get into the backstory and show how he was bullied... it's hard not to feel bad for him.

I feel the makers have done a huge blunder in terms of Dhruv and Ayesha. Because if he didn't love her and if it was really platonic, he never should have promised Ayesha such a huge thing. Ayesha is responsible for her decisions but on some molecular level, Dhruv too is responsible because false hope is more dangerous than anything.

I am yet to watch the previous episodes so not sure what kind of equation they showed when it comes to Dhruv and Ayesha but even without that, I think the promise was stupid. It makes no sense to me. Of course, you have a point there. We can consider that it was Dhruv who gave hope to Ayesha by promising her not to love/marry anyone, leading her to marry Jay so that she could stay around Dhruv.

And let's just say, he was indeed in love then also the character progression would be problematic. I am not expecting him to be a lovesick puppy for his sister in law but as someone who he had loved for a really long time, the way he treats Ayesha - it's quite rude, even before Tara's entry. And then falling for Tara so early is also questionable because being a doctor he must have seen a lot of grieving patients' family members who would do anything to treat them. Tara has a specific aura but even with that she hasn't really done anything for him for Dhruv to go out of his way to help her. Now post marriage it's a different thing but I'm talking about the foundation of their relationship. So it looked extremely forced to me that they are mouthing such huge dialogues like Tara has faith in him as much as she trusts Lord Krishna but what exactly has Dhruv done so far that he has earned such respect?

From those two scenes that I have watched - the promise and then the dard ka rishta one - I don’t think he ever had any romantic feelings for Ayesha. Ah, honestly, I have forgotten the stupid promise made because otherwise I won't be able to watch. 😆 So I enjoy watching him dismissing Ayesha because that's right in my opinion. The whole dard ka rishta thing is as lame as Dhruv's promise.

Ye log laate kaha se hai aise wade aur aise rishte? School ki jagah ITV sets pe jate the kya ye bachpan me? 😆

Yes, I watched Ishhan in Gud Se Meetha Ishq. His character Neel is literal perfection in my opinion. 🤭 He was helpful, an aspiring photographer and full of life. But his biggest strength was he never let people get away with their bullshit. He would call out anyone and everyone in their crap, including his parents.

There too he married Kajal (FL) to save her life but unlike the SP MLs, he didn't ill-treat her. He genuinely cared for her and unlike here, they had a gradual progression in their relationship despite the toxicity. Besides, even before their marriage they had 22 episodes where we saw how the foundation of their friendship was laid and why NeiKa trusted each other so much.

Neel too had a girlfriend but his confusion was shown more realistically. Like feeling confused about the changing dynamics, trying to strike a balance and eventually falling out of love. But what stayed with me was that even when he blasted her ex, he told her that no one should stoop so low or sacrifice their dignity for someone else's love. He was considerate and sweet but also very strong.

He was the type of ML that made me feel every sacrifice Kajal did for him was worth it because he was really that good! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

And of course, even though Kaju wasn't a typical strong character her devotion and love to Neel was on an entirety different level. NGL, at times I would wonder if I could be born as Neel in some alternate universe and find a Kaju, and yes I am saying that despite being a girl. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

This sounds interesting. I might try to watch. Thanks for the details. I appreciate them. ❤️

Definitely! Too bad I had no one to discuss GSMI with as being a SB show it had no hype at all. 😔😔😔

Yeah, I didn't even know any such show existed. The first and last I watched from Star Bharat was Kalbhairav Rahasya 😆

Replied in blue above. ❤️

Today Tara legit took me back to Bhulbhulaiyaa, reminding me of the legendary Chandramukhi with that - ye... ye humara ghar hai. Ye humara sabhagriha hai. Ye maidaan... yaha humare bhaaiji hume prashikshan dete the. 😆

Bechare Dhruv ki kya hi galti hai! Ek to neurosurgeon. Upar se 21 vi sadi ka. Bhulbhulaiyaa bhi shayad dekhi hi hogi.

What else is he supposed to conclude than what he is concluding? 🤣
