I love the show specially the realization of love and various relationships. People seems to forget that usually two people do not fall in love simultaneously. One may accept feeling in love before the other one. In this story, Viaan is rich and have a staff to take care at home and not so much responsibilities at home but seems to be in love for the first time (like Ehasan said first love is always Euphoria)

On the other hand, Katha have tons of responsibilities and she has just gone through ordeal of her son's medical emergency, work stress situations, etc. In this situation, last thing on her mind is handling his boss being in love with her. At this point, all she cares to be happy with her son and finish project at the workplace. It will struck her one day that she is entitled to have that feeling again.

There is never right or wrong way for being in love, method wise or time wise. I have seen plenty of real life situations and came to conclusion, every love story is different. Even the most intelligent/sophisticated people end up behaving in silly way because they seems to lose control (told by friend madly in love).

One thing for sure, consistency in love most of the time wins as long as there is no feeling of hate/repulsion.

I like all the actors in this show. I agree it would be nice to show Katha opening up to Viaan (like hospital scene) about ONS specially before they start their journey together. They have shown Katha and Viaan, very honest with their feelings. Since open communication about feelings have become become rare in social media age, it nice to see in this show.

I think kathaa is reacting to her surroundings and she hasn't got time to even consider or ponder on Viaan's proposal.

She has her reasons for readily available for refusal, including her child her only priority, Viaan's mum is unhappy and she might have to face humiliations etc.

So it's a plain NO without thinking and imagine in this scenario, a guy proposes and not chase his lady at all in the name of giving her space. For their story to progress Viaan has to behave like a lovelorn puppy, he has to move earth and heaven, only his persistent efforts can force her to think about him.

Her son's closeness or approval of Viaan, probably Aarav's force can enable to let kathaa's guards down. So for the track to look sane Viaan has to be insanely in love and do all crazy things.

This is not just an office romance between boss and his employee, it's the romance between a young and successful handsome man who is catch for girls with a straightforward, independent single mum having an 8 year old son from her previous marriage who hasn't moved on from her deceased husband.

As I mentioned earlier I'm not sure how much of the ONS discussion is going to feature in their serious discussions. Because the thing is kathaa was given a justification for getting into ONS considering she's trying to save her terminally ill child, but from Viaan's end his perspective or misogynistic attitude doesn't bode well and hence we had the shamitha track with the so-called REDEMPTION.

I'd want to see them discuss about the ONS though, because it's violation against their wills. Both were forced due to circumstances and they both aren't into casual flings or intimacies.

I respect your opinion but the way the ONS is projecting out off lately for last few weeks or something, it feels one-sided and token. Her reason for rejecting felt rushed with 1-2 scenes of feeling frustrated by covering herself in a pillow and quickly to the rejection scene. It was so disjointed!

Like its been aforementioned by others, main observations are either Katha ke face par baara baje hue h or she's just lying. Idk, it's appearing too unidimensional. A lot of her expressions are about feeling overwhelmed or something.

Like, Idk how to mention, it's just as a viewer, the story is just off and seemed to pause at episode 50-something.

Even Viaan's arc is feeling disjointed -- following behind Katha a lot, making her feel uncomfortable, etc. Disconnected, honestly speaking.

I think the whole premise of the story is how intensely the protagonist feels for his love interest, he's not a man who would be moved by a puddle of water, he needs a wave to surf upon athe tide of emotions to ride over his grief and she's no small puddle with all her baggage and it can't be any other way.

She needs to persistently refuse and he has to consistently approach, sharam naam ki cheez aajaye tho their story is gone for a toss, because their love is bound to be stigmatised, they have to face humiliations, rejections and hence he needs to be unashamedly in love with her to get her into accepting him, giving their relationship a chance.

True enough.. but Viaan always being around Katha and in her space can be a little too overbearing and unsettling! And it's a little too hard to stomach personally tbh!

I think we can not expect a normal love story track in kathaa Viaan's case. Viaan has fallen for a girl who is still in love with her deceased husband and has a grown-up soon to be adolescent son. The child was once terminally ill, and the hospitalisation crippled the child physically but adversely impacted both the mother and the child. Hence they need a lot of TLC to overcome their traimatic experiences. Trauma is a very fluid concept and difficult to identify or quantify.

Kathaa to look like having a person with good morals, she should be reluctant to even think about viaan initially, and hence for their story to move further Viaan has to be unrelenting in his pursuits.

Additionally, such unions are definitely stigmatised in our society. So to face all these, Viaan should feel a strong pull towards Katha and his irresistible emotions make him go crazily after Kathaa.

Sadly during my childhood I heard my parents and adults talking about such men as either retarded or crazy to have chosen a SM when many good options are available.
