Completely agree. This show was shot before even JBG so Wahaj was neither very well-known nor critically acclaimed when he was cast for this. With Hareem as the producer, she is also going to be the main protagonist. I saw Hareem's IV a year ago with SH and she said it is 70%-80% cricket.

Even Amna said that the show doesn't have a lot of Wahaj but they are selling it on his name, the teasers are about him. Good for them but I don't feel show can work like that .......koi bhi actor ho its always the content which attracts the audience.

I think this was shot post-IJ very likely. I saw Hareem's interview with SH more than a year ago and the series was already shot and ready to release back then. Which means it would have been shot in 2021 at the latest (or maybe even 2020). Since the launch of Green has been so massively delayed, it is releasing now, and like you said, trying to cash in on Wahaj's popularity.

When did Amna say this? Was this on this week's Haute Bites?

I think this is kind of false advertising. I will be really pissed as an audience if I go in expecting a full-fledged Wahaj show and get only Wahaj scenes as an appetizer. I think a lot of people got disappointed with Kuch Ankahi and its rating suffered because they though it would have Bilal-Sajal as the main track and not as a side plot, the quality of the show notwithstanding.

They did this with usman mukhtar after anaa. They put him on the poster while he had few sences in few episodes!

I hate how they're cashing on him first. The only thing I'm glad about is that it's not a romance. Then it would get compared with TB right away. Jurm as well . It's good that it's a thriller mini series.

Even when you read Hareem's 1 year old IV , there is only one sentence about Wahaj and from IV it looks like Hareem's journey to become a cricketer.

True, they will give 2 minutes of Wahaj per episode to keep audience interested or maybe they will edit the show in a way to include every Wahaj scenes which maybe they would have deleted before TB.

Anyways, the teaser does look nice but still I am not going to watch it while its airing, maybe binge watch it for Wahaj after it ends.
