Earlier even though the story was basic the execution was good. There was no ott. There was no unnecessary bg or slo-mo scenes of hand holding or looking at the eyes without blinking for hours etc. So even if the story is a bit exaggerated everything looked real.

I like both Farhat and umera. If i am not wrong Farhat also wrote udaari. Zgh and udaari are two of my most fav dramas. Most of the dramas that gives me classic pak drama feels are written by either of the two. Now i am liking Mohammed Ahmed for his writing in KA. His dialogues are also so good. It gives such classic vibes.

OMG you must watch Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishaan!!!! It's soooo good! Also Qaid e Tanhai!

Yes I loved Udaari too.❤️ Have you watched Rehaai? That also had a similar theme of child abuse.

I also loved Yeh Dil Mera. The dragging ruined it though.

Farhat Ishtiaq is an excellent writer especially romantic and subtle love stories.. Umera Ahmed is one of the greatest writer, ZGH was and is a masterpiece.. But, don't know why YKS will always stole the limelight for me since first episode except the suicide act.. The story, actors, location, cinematography and bgms everything was fabulous❤️. But, Kashaf from ZGH will be superior always❤️. And coming to Humsafar, it is overrated for sure. The story is utter lame and one which made it overrated is Fawad - Mahira chemistry and how khirad stood tall for her self respect.

I didnt even like Mahira as Khirad. She was so bad in it. Naveen was much better than her.
