I think the confession will happen after he admits her in college for her law education. The reason why she is not able to accept the marriage is because they took away her rights, her freedom. She wanted to become a lawyer. If he fights with everyone for her right, it was like going against his own principles and letting her complete the law education. Then it will be the final step for her.

But, anyways, if Meerab is 25 years old then by this age her law education should have been completed.
