I watched 7 epis so far. He does look really handsome in ming ye costume....and I thought he looked really hot during that dance sequence.☺️ Have you seen the bts? Bai Lu's struggle with the costume was hilarious.🤣 They were laughing their heads off. 😆
I think they toned him down to pass the review. Don't they have a rule that the lead characters can't be too dark? Have you read the novel?

Yeah I have read the book😆 he is total jerk there...here you can empathize with him but not in the books😆 he kills xiao Lin in the book...let's see how they tone it😆

Yes, I read about it somewhere back when WOH was airing. Even if they are evil or antiheroes they still need to have a moral compass. This is why they couldn't make Wei Wuxian or Wen Kexing exactly like their novel counterparts. Although I never personally found novel WWX to be that dark to begin with. He was pretty much a victim of his situation. TTJ is already much darker than both WWX and WKX combined. But I am not complaining.😆

It's so stunning. 👏Yes I love this...I love both the opening and ending OSTs....Liu Yuning, Zhang Bichen and Mao Buyi...just perfect.
