No it was not or cocould probably be a case of snake uncle's promiscuity following home. Amba may have given birth and turned up with the boy. The father wanted to keep him but not the mother obviously BK would not have wanted a co-wife especially one who produced a male child.

Also, even if Sai Tomorrow marries Satya, then it’ll not take away Savi’s rights from Virat or Chavans, she will still be equally an heir to the Chavan property and Virat’s property as Vinu is……she was never illegitimate legally, also the fact that Virat has acknowledged her being his biological daughter, itself puts a full stop on legitimacy and illegitimacy, now Sai can marry another or stay single, none can take Savi’s rights as Chavan kid…..

So from what I understand, if a child is born 9 months after a marriage is dissolved, then it is not illegitimate, and the mother's former husband is listed as the child's father. So no issues of Savi being illegitimate.

Also, re VP marriage, I am fairly sure it is legal. No one knows the exact timeline of VP's marriage but based on orphanage scene when the adoption was taking place, Vinu was at least 3/4 years old. So it was a few years after Sai's "death". Why VP marriage is legal is because when Sai was presumed to be dead, a death certificate would have been issued and Chavans also held a funeral for her. After death certificate is issued, SaiRat marriage is actually dissolved and Sai never came back to contest it either. So no there are no grounds for her to claim her status as wife again as she knowingly stayed away. So VP marriage is currently the legal marriage.

All decisions for child custody and alimony from Sai have to be done in court as there was no divorce process, but SaiRat marriage is no longer legal. That is why Virat needs divorce from P to remarry Sai.

Sai can play smart and get kids custody but the issue is that she's not ruthless. She wants their custody but not at the cost of forcibly separating them from anyone. She's resigned herself to VP, CN involvement in kids lives. If she just wanted custody by hook or crook she'd have got it by now. But she's trying to do it such that her rights are undeniable but she's not wanting to isolating kids from V, CN anymore. And in Vinus case, she's acknowledging his attachment to P.

I disagree with the assessment that she's not righteous or is a doormat.

I can connect with her. I understood her dilemmas. I know that her mind and heart are in the right place. Even in her confusion she has maintained decorum, boundaries. Any comparison of Sai with P is distasteful and silly.
