Sai should actually can play double game with both Virat & Pakhi. She can tell avirat that he will get an answer after he divorces P & makes Vinu accept Sai as his mother. She can tell P that she will reject Virat if P accept Sai as his mother & agree to move out with her. No matter who succeeds it’s win for Sai.

She could have got her both kids custody had she knows how to play tactic instead of acting all righteous when she is not.

He refused to move on & spent 8 years missing Sai. She herself admitted in court so under oath that Virat never cared for her or treated her like a wife & he always cared for Sai. Once they get signed by Pakhi which she should as the sole reason of their marriage doesn’t exist after knowing Vinu’s truth, Sai & Virat can get married. All he has done is asking Sai if she will. He gave Pakhi a way out by withdrawing the case against Sai which she refused. He made sure their relationship is over after the case. He has moved out of their room. So they are separated.

Also all the phone conversation suggest is Virat always loved only Sai, She is mother of his children, he is not happy in his current marriage where he is bound by duty & he wants to break it & move on with Sai. There is nothing about Sai doing anything . So Pakhi can confront Virat & ask for answers but not Sai.

That's the whole issue, he chose P as his friend, wife whatever, post leap story is all about that. Now he decides to divorce her, signs the papers without telling her. Marriage/ divorce are two way processes, both the parties need to know about them. And why should Sai make sure that he gives divorce to P if she wants to say yes. Does that not make her a homewrecker? It's not acceptable for P or any other lady in picture. Why couldn't he ask for divorce in the ZA in presence of kaku before persuing Sai? Kaku would have helped. Why did he not talk to Vinu about the changing dynamics between them before talking to Sai, to make her belief in jaadugarni story firm. As it is being portrayed, P is his backup option. If Sai says no, he will go back to P and Sai not clearing things is clearly enabling him. He can love anyone but legality of relationship is required. We had the same grievance with P pre leap, remember sindoor vs gulaal dialogues used multiple times?

I agree V doesn't need to divorce P to make Saavi legitimate. My point is if VP in invalid, then this question doesn't even arise.

But since there is a huge hue and cry about VP marriage and VP divorce... based on what they have shown.... Saavi was born when Sai was 'not married' to V. She was conceived legally, born illegitimate.

U r sounding as if virat didn't do all these. U remember virat saying he married pakhi for vinu but don't remember the number of times he assured pakhi she will always be his wife. The reason he did remarriage, honeymoon planning without her asking him.

Now he should have shown guts to make pakhi sign divorce papers first before proposing if he has any respect for both women.

Pakhi is wrong that doesn't make virat sai wrong actions right.
