Anupa's progress🥳

Yes, I watched a clip where she asks Samar to put sanitizer there, worrying about students' hygiene. From snotty pallu to sanitizer. What a journey🥳

Okay, I know, I know. This is just for showing off her care for hygiene and the pallu Prem is going nowhere. I'm not naive.

But like someone rightly said about this show. Here in this show saying=truth. Anupa talked about hygiene means Anupa actually cares about hygiene.

Sounds like a very wise person. I wonder who it is.

We had seen her new Uddan before 2 yrs back when she pushed Mshter SHAH to get married to Kavia and the way she walked from there with her her head high up we were all assuming that now she will do something good for her self and will go and live at her maika but straight from the guest house she anded at the Shah house and started doing her lectures even more longer length ,oh yes what happened to her Samar and Nandani ,she was so amendment to get them married that its mere bete ka pehla pyar,even the bete wasnt even studying or nor had a job.

Aree, it's a simple si baat. In this show, this is the very definition of journey! But I think the makers feel it still wasn't enough, so that's why they have completely revamped the show now to show an even more proper journey - one involving more Shahs, especially the true hero, Vanraj Shah. Also bhashans of even more length - so probably Maha-episodes of bhashans are incoming too, full of moral values.

Like that wise person said, words = reality in the show. So that will make Anupama an even more moral person, if it's even possible.

This sudden scene makes me think that have our references to snotty suti sari and poopy pallu become too unpalatable for the DKP interns who are assigned to browse through the forum 😈

Btw this reminded me of a similar scene only a couple of days ago, from a show which has been making waves of late, where the mother instructs her son to sanitise his hands in the hospital before holding the newborn. And it seemed very organic and natural like a mother normally reminding her child. Even before that, everyone sanitising their hands in the hospital was shown very casually without any particular focus on it.

But if we talk about this show, any small or big thing can be seen using the metaphor of Dukhmukh. All talk and no action. Words in promos that never translate into episodes. If the "journey" can be dreamed of, why bother showing it 😆

@bold:

Toh Paritosh kaunsa kamata tha? Yeh saare rules non-Shahs ke liye hote hain, samjha karo. Kisi ko toh Shahs ko paalna hoga na privileged hain. Sir pe seeng nahin dikhe? Special they are.

Which show? (if you feel like sharing). And yes, some shows are good at making scenes look natural with attention paid to background details.

But there is this question in my mind: how difficult do you think it is to make things look consistently natural in an indefinitely running show with an episode every day? (Zero excuses to this show because of the manner in which it's dragging social issues into it - zero! - to the intern reading this). But what do you think? How many long-running shows have you come across which is decent, all things considered? I've heard people mentioning a few. I'm quite unfamiliar with this world.

Katha Ankahee is the show. As of now it's quite restrained and pleasant compared to the jarring and melodramatic nonsense being churned out in most ITV shows.

I agree on the point regarding long running shows. It's always better to have limited episodes. In general ITV shows do not have seasons and instead start rehashing the same cliched plots. Eventually they take a leap when the current track becomes irretrievable. Whatever decent show I can think off the top of my head, was not long running. And usually I easily give up on ITV shows once they cross the 80-100 episode mark, completely forget the original premise and start showing the typical crap. Unfortunately, got a severe case of Anupamaa addiction here

Oh yes, I had seen a clip - and it was truly a class apart - on every level.

Aree...I too, have a moderate case of Anupamaforumitis - will be working on it!
