If you love Pride and Prejudice then it is hard not to love N&S. Both couples have a lot in common.

Yes many people find NS pacing slow, too dark, drab and depressing

This is an incredible example. Thornton is your alpha male and he is swoon worthy but not for one single moment is M kept mute to elevate him. We always know why Margaret behaves the way she does. In the proposal scene she is damn rude to him but we know why and in parts even reasonate with him. We sympathize with Thornton w/o hating Margaret.

That’s the sign of a good writer. Nooran is so shitty that now she’s making me angry again. Horrible woman writer giving no thoughts to her female character

In India by 21 you either 3 or final year graduate but since she wanted to study law am assuming she either completed-+2 and did some 2 /3 year course .

But they never showed her holding a book or even filling form and was shown doing accounting using hands I am assuming she is +2 pass! 🤔

Doesn't that sound like a deliberate cut to edit the shot like that, should they not have showed us his concern or relief when she hugged him.

When have we ever not seen Murtasim react to Meerab. Even in the first hug, despite it being dark we see Murtasim face. The kitchen scene is another sequence where they deliberately pull away from him when he is asking for a kiss. I wonder if these are not just camera angle mistakes but they hide the intimacy.

The dance where he tries to kiss her hands, well nothing to hide there because she ran away. The pool sequence there are BTS shots of him grabbing her, but in the episode the whole sequence is so choppy trying to cloak their closeness.

I would love to see Yumna and Wahaj in Pak version of North and South. They will kick it out of the park. Someone please make this happen

Meerab is pondering it takes her a couple of seconds to compose herself as she looks at the light/love, she is not ready yet to accept this warmth as she shoves him back.

Thornton didn't have to change much as much as Darcy did, compared to Darcy he is a real softy. Darcy is my first love, but Thornton is my sentimental favourite, he suffered a lot, a true hero he rose from the ashes.

Both Elizabeth and Margaret are beautifully written female characters even when they are being unfair you understand their perspectives.
