No one expects anything from anupama. Her character was ruined long back since she stayed at shah house after divorce but anuj was perfect husband material till now.

Good for you. Personally, I like the character arc barring few occasions where he left his sister on her own for his so called pyar etc. Never seen an ITV Hero sitting nicely with his wife and explain the problems he’s facing in the relationship SO many times with such patience. Such a refreshing change from what we usually see of abusive tantrum throwing heroes. 😎 And much glad to see that if all buttons pushed, he is okay to take a stand for himself, given that he does so, than bowing down to MAA for nothing.

Anuj hasn't taken a stand Anuj ran away. Taking stand means he clearly offers his partner two choice n then moving out of marriage in proper legal way. Even court gives proper time for couple to mens their ways when they approach for seperation.

Taking a stand for himself? Nope. He just ran away. Because he is obsessed with someone else’s kid.

Marriages cannot end like that, there is something called couples counselling. You don’t give up on your spouse so easily.

Guys, why do we call it run away ? Running away is what Vanraj did in the middle of the night getting cold feet about divorce. Anuj left in CLEAR daylight, explained the situation and reasoning like 4-5 times that he felt suffocated with AnupaMAA. He clearly told AnupaMAA the reasons twice. Not even counting the # of times he explained to her calmly, then in new year - had an outburst.

Guys, any decent person would say sorry after any angry fallout. Anuj also did in NY. But that doesn’t mean the receiver side should keep herself on the pedestal and never ponder upon what a person says in anger. She learns nothing. She does nothing about what he says. She hears Anuj but never ‘listens’ i.e. pays attention.

This is in my book the best thing he did after long time. Had he shown any sign of weakness, trust AnupaMAA to lock him up in a room in a distress state until Anuj is out of his ‘paagal’pan.
