I hope you are happier Now Vivian.

We did try to warn you, all us fans when you were tying the knot the first time around.

You will always be remembered for your portrayal of Abhay. No one could have played him better in terms of acting or the looks.

Your fan appreciation still continues and PKYEK forum is still open, alive and kicking till this day.

It was once in a life time show, character and forum and those awesome kind of fans and supporters.

I had such a crush on Vivian once upon a time.

I think there was media speculation so Vivian had to share this otherwise he is a very private individual.

He sounds like he is content and that is all that matters.

nothing like that. People should be free to practice whatever religion they want. But what if he decides later that he finds peace in some other religion?😛 Would he be allowed to leave Islam?

Considering Islam says ‘there is no compulsion in religion’ yes he would. Bleeding hell.

Who is stopping him? He might not be able to leave Islam if he lives in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan but if he lives in other countries that are secular, then there won’t be any problem. In Indonesia, one woman converted to Hindu from Muslim. In Bangladesh, a Hindu girl converted to Islam when she married a Muslim boy and then after the divorce, she re-converted to Hindu again but no one said anything to her.

that's good except those examples seem to be exceptions. From the net it seems there are all kinds of executions prescribed for apostasy. Just some excerpts that you can find easily:

  • កanafÄ« school – recommends three days of imprisonment before the execution, although the delay before killing the apostates is not mandatory. Apostasy from Islam is not considered a hudud crime.[127] Unlike in other schools, it is not obligatory to call on the apostate to repent.[7] Apostate males are to be killed, while apostate females are to be held in solitary confinement and beaten every three days till they recant and return to Islam.[128] The death penalty for apostasy from Islam is limited for those who cause aggravated robbery or grand larceny (áž„irābah) after leaving Islam, not for converting to another religion.[129]
  • MālikÄ« school – allows up to ten days for recantation, after which the apostates must be killed. Apostasy from Islam is considered a hudud crime.[127] Both male and female apostates deserve the death penalty for leaving Islam, according to the traditional view of the MālikÄ« school.[125] Unlike other schools, the apostates must have a history of being "good" (i.e., practicing) Muslims.[7]
  • ShāfiÊżÄ« school – waiting period of three days is required to allow the apostates time to repent and return to Islam. Failing repentance, death penalty is the recommended form of punishment for both male and female apostates for leaving Islam.[125] Apostasy from Islam is not considered a hudud crime.[127]
  • កanbalÄ« school – waiting period not necessary, but may be granted. Apostasy from Islam is considered a hudud crime.[127] Death penalty is the traditional form of punishment for both male and female apostates for leaving Islam.[125]
  • JaÊżfari or ImāmÄ« school – Male apostates must be executed, while female apostates must be held in solitary confinement until they repents and return to Islam.[125][128] Apostasy from Islam is considered a hudud crime.[127] The "mere intention of unbelief" without expression qualifies as apostasy.[7] Unlike the other schools, repentance will not save a defendant from execution, unless they are "national apostates" who were not born Muslims but converted to Islam before apostasizing, although it is disputed by some Muslim scholars. "Innate" apostates, who grew up Muslims and remained Muslim after puberty and until converting to another religion, should be executed.[7][110]

Even in India there have been so many cases where the whole family was boycotted by the village or their lives were threatened... So much so that they had to leave their native places and settle somewhere else in anonymity.

Twitter is full of such cases (by authentic sources) but they are very rarely reported in mainstream news.

Apostasy is apparently a very big thing, not to be taken lightly.
