Rekha - obsessed or method to her madness?

I am always fed up of seeing Rekha repeat Umrao or Zohra act in all shows now or recreate songs and dialogues from Silsila.

Or hint at her love for a married man or her old interviews go viral about her love for Amitabh. One with Simi always goes viral again and again.

Is this woman indeed obsessed with Amitabh or does she do these antics to keep herself relevant and get publicity?

Is it her legit obsession with AB sr or she keeps these rumours alive to stay relevant and embarass Bachchans?

Or does she want to show she was better choice than Jaya?

Young lot on Insta and YouTube seems to love her and calls her example of true love and some call her modern day Meera or say she was better than Jaya. Does she seem to know about it and attention she gets?

I wonder why is she so famous on feminist sites when she totally lacks spine and still shows obsession with a married man who does not even look at her in public nor admits to affair with her. What is feminist here?

I don’t think she lacks a spine. In fact, completely opposite. She has lived her life on her own terms. That’s not an easy feat for anyone let alone a woman living in a patriarchal society

Publicity.. i think it is in the same interview where she mentions that you will not believe it but no such thing is happening in real, all these is just in the media..

I don't know if she lacks spine or not but if she is indeed after a married man, trying to prove some dæd point & trying to put down another woman who is married to the man then she definitely lacks self respect & some real job.

OT: They had a rumored romantic relationship in the past, which was never publicly confirmed by either of them. One has moved on, one hasn't. Such things happen. And we never know what exactly went on behind the scenes. If she chooses to stay faithful to this man even after he broke her heart, it must be true love.

Rekha married a number of times. Those marriages didn't work out.

But she lives with Amithabh in her head forever.

You will be surprised to see how much her old interviews and award show antics where she stands when Bachchan gets award, go viral on YouTube and Instagram and how many IDs are dedicated to her on Insta.

It irks me when it pops up on my feed.

I am aware Khala, why she is a toast of feminist sites for living on own terms, wearing sindoor despite being a widow, dressing up even at this age or looking younger for her age or some LGTBTQI sites like her for her relation with Farzana.

But I really wonder about her behaviour towards AB sr and bringing him up even if not asked about him. I do not think it reflects self respect on her part to hint at a married man who does not give a damn about her in public. That just shows desperation or obsession or low self esteem.
