Viaan's understanding of Ehsan's feelings for Katha

When the show's focus was on Ehsan's feelings for Katha I had some thoughts in my mind about it.

Ehsan had told Viaan quite a couple of times that he was pretty serious about Katha and wanted to start a relationship with her but Viaan always thought Ehsan just wants to do time pass/indulge in a fling with her and then dump her just like he had done with his previous girlfriends. Since the beginning he never trusted Ehsan's words whenever he talked about Katha only because of his previous flings. Not once did he think that what if Ehsan has actually fallen for Katha. I mean he never thought that if Katha could change his own views and opinions about women then maybe she must have changed Ehsan too. Even on holi when Ehsan was high on bhaang he was talking about Katha and again Viaan didn't pay attention to that. I found that pretty weird of Viaan, I mean this not trusting his friend's words about his feelings for Katha.

In holi episode for the first time I also felt that ehsan's feeling could be deepeer than just wanted to have fling.

For previous all the times, I don't blame viaan because even though ehsan's feelings could have been true but he was behaving exactly opposite like buying yatch of her favorite color, asking the man there to fix a romantic setting date for them, barging in katha's house everytime without permission, trying to touch her etc. If anybody see this kind of behaviour then he will definitely feel what viaan felt. Forget viaan, even we felt like that😆

But yes after holi episode, it clicked me for the first time may be ehsan is really in love and I wanted viaan to understand this. But he didn't even pay any attention. And in fact planned his own dinner date the very next second😆

In original he never considered ehsan's feelings even when there was no confusion regarding whether ehsan's feelings were genuine or not. Then also viaan just proposed katha, it came across as back stabbing your best friend for a girl.😆

I hope here, they will handle it better. A man with Viaan's sensibilities and maturity wont think of back stabbing a friend.

Yeah that's a very good point.

Ehsan clearly saying to Viaan what he feels. Then atleast he should take it serious once. I started watching the show just before a week and then I saw all the episodes but I must say both share such a great bond. Then from both the side equation should be same. Ehsan always thinks about Viaan then Viaan should try to understand his feelings for Katha.

Yes, even after marriage there were so many occasions where viaan would feel jealous of ehsan.

But that viaan of og now seems totally a different character. He was always a jealous, possesive man. In our show they have changed viaan so much that its difficult to relate him to og viaan. So I don't want our viaan to behave like og.

yes everyone has a past they can change but don’t think viaan is not just thinking about katha but thinking about ehsan too that he want both of them to get hurt because he knows katha is now that conferrable with him and he did tell ehsan that katha is not kind of woman she has a kid he shouldn’t be that rush into things

ehsan thought viaan getting jealous of him but he was looking out for of them because know both sides personally

First of all even I was thinking that Ehsan's feelings for Katha were just infatuation but yeah during holi when Ehsan mentioned Katha in his bhaang wala state I realized maybe he genuinely likes Katha and it could be more than infatuation or attraction.

That yacht part is what made Viaan think Katha is just like any other girl for Ehsan jiske saath he wants to indulge in physical relationship and then dump her later. I guess that's the reason Viaan didn't pay attention to Ehsan's words on Holi and yeah I agree I too found it weird that he immediately called Katha and asked her if she can spend some time with him somewhere. It did look to me like he was backstabbing his BFF though his intention was not that.

He had also noticed Katha is quite comfortable with Ehsan. For example he saw their dance in Jeetu bhai's anniversary party and Katha was quite comfortable dancing with him but I guess Viaan has this opinion about her that she can never fall for a certified flirt/casanova type man like Ehsan. He has this very high opinion about Katha now and he is confident Katha can't fall in love with Ehsan. I wonder what makes him think she can fall in love with him though because he was all set to propose to her during their date night. 😆

am still not sure whether ehsaan has deep feelings at all. it all seems to be surface level because he does not want to know the real katha or has an understanding of what it would be like to date a single mom. that said, regardless of whether ehsaan has real feelings or not, what is real is the friendship between viaan and ehsaan.

whether they are teenagers or men, there is a clear 'bro code' which is underlying in friendships -- that includes not hitting on relatives or the girl the friend is interested in. if anything, the men have to talk it out and get permission in some ways -- this is to ensure basic respect is given and the friendship continues.

viaan is not even thinking about the impact this would have on his friendship or what ehsaan means to him. so in that sense, it is a big fail and he is setting himself to lose a person that was important to him for many years. so it will be a deep wound.

Right Viaan is much better than Orun , I also like Orun and Sehrazat though and his bonding with kaam is 🥰 he's so soft with him

In Hindi version too am looking forward to Viaan and Aarav bonding as a father n son , kaan was small so he easily accepted onur as his father but don't know about aarav

I totally agree with you on this. Viaan has some idea about Ehsan's feelings for Katha. Even if he thinks it's just attraction or crush or infatuation or whatever, he should talk about his own feelings with Ehsan just like Ehsan had always clearly told him so that later Ehsan shouldn't misunderstand Viaan. Maybe after this track ends they should show a scene where Viaan tells Ehsan he loves Katha. Ehsan has always stood with Viaan in his trying times and even now his support to him is massive. I don't want their years old friendship to break due to a simple misunderstanding.
