Even yesterday Murtasim says she was imprisoned and forced to marry someone she doesn’t like but he also never addresses or talks about how her identity has been taken away! But the second promo look of hers when MB tells waqas to take her away for few days, was she looking at Murtasim hoping he would say No! Is it like ping-pong for her again and when he doesn’t do anything she is crestfallen and then resorts to her only coping mechanism which is being sarcastic/harsh on him, when she says is he worried she might not return as she very well knows he will be frank and was hoping for some Positive response or assurance!

This Story has so much scope to be a lot more deeper than what we are getting. They need to have several important conversations which we are not seeing.
We are just jumping from crisis to crisis without giving this couple room to breathe.


He has said a few times before you are anwar daughter but she shut him down. And when that door didn’t open for her it also didn’t open for him. It was his idea to bring her adopted parents for the wedding, only he understood that she is waiting for them. There are two things loss of identity vs loss of parents. But her identity is his now she is his meerab, he has taken ownership of what she has lost and doesn’t think she needs to search for it, just see herself through this eyes. The problem is does meerab like what she sees?

Did he come on tooooo strong after marriage. He is an all or nothing guy the concept of friendship wouldn’t have occurred to him. But she is his friend he treats her like one not just as his wife. He teases like a friend, he flirts like a lover, he protects like her husband.

The fire burns when there is oxygen. Right now the oxygen is really wahaj and Yumna. And our analysis is pouring gasoline on this fire.

She has nothing to give at the moment. It's always a terror or chaos hanging over her in different forms. If murtasim becomes a literal saint she still is not obliged to reciprocate his love. She needs to be mentally emotionally stable first. Be happy and feel safe. She needs a home of her own where there are no buts and ifs. i think this is what meerab always wanted. Not faltu ki I'm going clubbing and going to spend a million dollars on make up kind of thing. She wanted the basic autonomy of not being in a position where her shelter and basic needs won't be met if she said no to something ridiculous. Like how her parents threw her out just over nothing. It's so sad to see people mentality. Imao people always harsh on meerab character. It's a fact. Because she doesn't fit in 'mahaan, selfless, forgiving fl character criteria '. When male leads can have grey shade then why can't female lead ?

In itv we have male leads like arnav, rk, who acted as jerk towards fl because they had bad past. They do worse things than just being 'rude'. Still they are accepted. Because they are MALE LEADS.

But female lead can't even have basic human flaws.

There is difference between criticising her behaviour and outright shaming her for the things she never deserved.

- Few watch it as drama ( intelligent ppl) they go with flow and they react as per situation. He is flirting with her, wow yaar he is so romantic and same person will bash him if he slaps her! So they watch drama as drama!

- Fangirls : I think thy are mostly teens who are so in love with idea of love and they don’t see anything beyond ML. Dangerous gang but harmless , these tweets boil ur blood but expecting maturity out of them is wrong!

- Feminist gang : I never understood them! Why even waste time watching a fictional drama which has OTT and Romance written all over it and expect logic in it ?

- Finally people like us : we know what we signed for 😍
We want happy ending! We know we won’t get logic so we try and find logic ourselves, we know we won’t get any explanation why a char is behaving like it is so we will discuss, loose sleep and finally come with our own explanation!We will keep watching every romantic drama in hopes of finding Mr. Darcy - flawed but beautiful!
