I think writer have been heavily *inspired* by Friends. First the father ji thing, then “I take thee Rachel” scene (Abhi saying Ak’s name in pooja), so if the inspiration continues - in Friends when Rachel knows that Joey has feeling for her, she decides why not let’s give it a try. They seek Ross’s blessing and then try and make out. But the whole thing is super awkward for them and they realize they can just be friends, nothing more.

Imagine this with Ak-Nav!!! 🤢 And Ak’s realisation ki boss nahin ho payega move-on 🤪 🙈
