It is all a matter of perspectives. Is she learning a lesson or is she teaching him lessons.

Lesson 1 Murtasim you can't fire your gun in anger hence why he didn't fire his gun at the recent Panchayat at Malik screw face Jr. for essentially saying he wished he had assaulted his wife. My god we wanted him to fire that gun or throw a punch, it would have looked damn sexy, but violence can't defeat violence he learned that from his wife. Hence he storms to police, which Meerab would advice him to do, even though she wasn't there with him physically her presence was felt. This is different from his earlier stance of I am punisher I will act exact revenge personally, but now he knows you cannot take law into your hands especially if you are in the right, he must set an example as a leader. If by following his example everyone shot at each other it is anarchy.

Lesson 2 The first panchayat scene wasn't Meerab right in retrospect. Don't involve innocents especially women in your fights. It was she who inspired him to get Nyla married so she can go home, even though it failed in the end his heart was in the right place. His wife advised him to not to do any injustice in the name of justice, leading now to his eventual regret that the rich shouldn't dictate the lives of the poor and use them as pawns in their territorial disputes.

Lesson 3 The walima dance comes back to the OG point, was she in the wrong in dancing and was her views on this matter not correct hence another lesson for him. He didn't convince her, she changed him, the impact of her words felt later. Why should what happened to Nyla depress him at all, she is just collateral damage. He feels guilty as he should because he has learned from his wife that at the end of the day we are all equal in the eyes of god, Nyla's pain is not insignificant compared to his prestige. Gaddi-Janasheen his mighty self cannot trample over the little people and look down upon them, if you want to take responsibility for their lives then first learn to respect them. If the writer thinks he is Robin Hood, it is time he started acting liking it.

The Rohail track regardless of what mistakes Meerab might or might not make and how we interpret it, it will eventually lead to Murtasim learning some valuable lessons into becoming Mr. Perfect Husband. How to respect a wife as equal partner and trust her when the world is against her. It is not good enough to say she is my priority you have to prove it with actions too. The contract wasn't there to humiliate or punish him but for you to prove to her that she can trust you, that you won't abandon her when the going gets tough, and importantly your pride is not above her pain.

And please please please for all that is holy do something about BUG (Burrow Underground Gnome) aka 4ft Pixie Witch. I am running out of nicknames and Meerab has run out of patience. TBA awaits your verdict.

Meerab is his constant, Murtasim is adapting to her, he is changing for her and becoming the better man the better husband the better life partner, so that she can accept him with full heart and soul instead of compromising on a discount version. He is the diamond in the rough just needs some Meerab polishing.
