If anyone near me (especially women) wants to get hitched to a delusional harmful person like the spicebox or any sadakchaap phemli member, then I would actively work to sabotage the alliance, so as to ultimately protect them from getting hurt in the future and prevent their life being ruined. Yes, eventually it's their decision and others can't impose but I'd want to do everything possible to save them and would not mind being at the receiving end of their anger because of them.

When KinDosh were getting hitched, masala dani was hailed for standing up for love whilst Rakhi was vilified and look what it has lead to. My intent here is not at all to discourage or question love and free will but to point out that many more factors need to be carefully considered before getting married especially in a society where it's common to treat marriage as a union between families more than the individuals.

Associating with a filthy characterless clan like Tamashahs is strictly avoidable. Anuj married Anupamaa for the person he thought she is individually. Keeping aside who was right and wrong in the matter of Choti because the makers don't know themselves, what is even left of his life due to the destructive actions of the unpaid maid and her self appointed maayka.

Of course not. I would do everything in my power up until minutes before the wedding to beg them not to marry this person or into this family. In the end it is there decision to make but at least I did all I had to keep this marriage from happening.

That should be enough.
