Reasons why CA was the chosen one

As far as I remember from the great memorial Mumbai so called honeymoon episode:

1. Her name is Anu. This was a biggest one

2. This kid danced like our dear Anupama. This was the second big one

3. This kid prayed to Krishna brother (Kanha ji). This was an add on

4. This kid prayed God to send her parents soon and the newly wedded couple heard the prayer. This was an emotional one.

5. The kid was exactly the age that they perhaps wanted 7-8 years old neither too small nor a teenager. This could have been a practical one.

The reasons for bringing this particular kid home for fostering was very evident that she reflected his Anupama in some ways but now all of a sudden his 26 years of pyaar has become dum dum dum guttha hai. It is looking so weird that he has crossed all obsession limits and behaving so stupid. If it is all about becoming parents then there are 100s of kids without one and they can do this again but there is no logic for showing a highly logical man to behave like Anu is his own blood. He is ready to sacrifice the marriage and woman he waited for 26 years in a second. To me is now that this man got married only because he wanted to foster otherwise who in world would not want to spend quality time with someone he gained after 26 years and wants to become a father overnight??? The markers have gone crazy for sure. They have nothing else to offer and the show has completely gone rotten.

I am sure AK ka dum dum dum guttha hai ya nahi par audience ka zaroor gutega jald hi.

Do peope really believe kids are like gajar mooli? Ek gaya, doosra le aao?

Dude parents get PTSD even for an un born child after miscarriage(and yes both mom and dad get PTSD) . And you have someone live with you like your own child for so long and you think there is no attachment?

And what is this flesh and blood nonsense in the 21st century? Adopted parents take care of adopted child like their own flesh and blood in today's day and age

Dude it hasnt even been COUPLE of days since a father lost his child. Grieving for two days is NOT obsession, its normal behavior

And no 26 year love survives when a spouse emotionally cheats and spends 90% time at ex in laws and neglects spouse and children in new family. Even 260 years love won't survive

And reason for Anuj adopting was shown, Anupama would never be his and would spend 90% time at ex in laws. He needed someone of his own

P.S. just because its a father instead of mother, his love for his child is no less and Grieving for a lost child is not obsession. Lets stop the double standards

Ohh please. I never meant gakar mooli etc for kids. He clearly said he wants to adopt, adoption does not mean you can only adopt 1. If unfortunately, a kids biological mother arrives then the kid is no longer eligible for fostering/adoption unless and until the biological mother is incapable of taking care of the kid. Adoption is a noble thing and the markers have made a mockery out of it. Please see the movie "Goodbye" if you havent already, there Neena Gupta and Amitabh Bachchan adopt so many kids from the same orphanage and that is what it means and not to show such obsession over just 1 kid. Anuj can always adopt another child if he believes in adoption rather than just thinking it is end of the world. Anyway please let us agree to disagree and do not give moral science lecture to each other. I can have an opinion which is necessarily not exact as yours.

Exactly. Thats where the poor writing comes in.

Everything Anuj has been doing since the wedding has seemed out of character. No person in their right mind wants to adopt a kid on their honeymoon. And though Anu is responsible for a lot of it…its somehow not sitting well with me that he has suddenly started hating her after being in love with her for 26 years.
At the time of their wedding he was very much okay with just being with Anu and assured her that he was accepting her with baggage. She royally took him for granted is a different story. (I have zero sympathy for Anu, she brought this upon herself).

It’s unfortunate that the message being sent here is don’t marry someone with kids and don’t adopt kids.
Just terrible storytelling.

thats like saying Anuj can leave Anupama and marry anyone else… Anuj could very well have married someone else or had his own biological children but he didnt. He was in love or was fascinated by Anupama for 26 years but marriage with her changed his perspective…

In the few months of their marriage CA has been a part of their lives…Anuj has spent more time with CA than Anupama for whatever her reasons were…how is he not expected to have a stronger bond with CA when the kid was the only relation he could count on, he saw himself in the child and they were always there for each other unlike Anupama who was mostly ‘unavailable’

Anupama doesn’t get time from her Shah house mommy and grandmom duties to spend quality time with Anuj, else why would he say he has no one to call his own while she has her own family, precap is quite a proof of that

Because time and again Vanraj has warned him to stay away from his kids and even Anupama doesn’t like Anuj interfering in issues relating to her kids, she has to go running to Shah house many times a day sometimes middle of the night, perform all rituals with baccho ke pita and Dadaji Vanraj, then obviously he would need his own family, atleast one person who is solely his, that was CA for him, and no, its not easy to forget and move on and adopt another child, the trauma sometimes may take years to heal

Perhaps, he should have married someone else. If it was all about adopting a kid (as he sees himself in that position) then he should have done that a long time ago but since he waited for 26 years for this lady then it doesnt make any sense to have suffocation in her presence overnight. The markers have made a mockery out of adoption and its rules. He was ready to take Anu the child to the courts for his obsession, did not even had second thoughts of what the child will go through and what kind of mental imbalance it will bring to a 7-8 year old.

Adoption has a rule if you do not know. The name of the biological mother is sealed in an envelope and kept in the orphanage. Once the adopted child becomes 18 years old, they can request to get the envelope and know who their actual mother is then it is up to them to either understand the situation and accept their biological parents or stay with the adopted parents. So, an adopted child is almost like amanat of someone else with you. Thats why a lot of people do proper research, medical history check so that they do not have to deal with biological parents showing up suddenly. This show has always shown impulsive decisions taken by people and then landing in trouble. Anuj also took this impulsive decision in 5 mins without doing actual proper research on how Anu landed in the ashram in first place.

Its not about adoption rules in first place, Anuj definitely made impulsive decision in his yearning for a family especially after well knowing how Anupama’s priority lies in the Shahs she won’t be able to handle a young child and how toxic all this environment would be for that child, yes when CA would have turned 18, could have made a choice who she wants to be with, totally would have been her choice

Right now she has been manipulated, played with by both her mothers, one made her believe that she is the reason for fight between her parents and other let her live in that misconception

My initial point was its not easy to adopt one more child after going through an incident like this neither it’s easy to come out of the trauma and behave normal and start celebrating festivals!

@bold- he never said or showed that he hated her…he just wants Anupama to understand that he needs time and space to grieve but the woman doesnt get it and keeps asking why he is behaving weird… he didnt ask her to be sad, he just wants some alone time and she keeps poking him insensitively…I wish he said he hated her, kissa hi khatam ho jata once and for all.

totally agree its shoddy writing!
