He was in love with the PL before he married FL..they kept messing him up not just for the PL but another temporary female character too.

He's been emotionally cheating the FL multiple times & he does not let go of PL despite her crimes et all. The abuse and toxicity at display there is some other level. And I think post leap ML and PL went to the none platonic zone too. He's openly a bigamist right now.

The only similarity could be a vamp like character with multiple crimes in her kitty being whitewashed in the name of being a good mother & also being a potential wife here but a legal wife there.

Real story of season 3, A girl who finds out that her mother is a 2nd wife of someone, loves her step sister more, finally finds love only for her sister to steal him away. But little does she know that her sister was so mahaan that she sacrificed herself to make a selfish arrogant man who didnt know the ABCD of love into a a perfect man for her dear step sister, in the process losing herself. Story was always about 2 sisters and Akshara's sacrifice and Arohi's finally getting what she deserves.🤣
