Yeah maybe she is running away over something he did and she doesn't agree with. Murtasim core character is fulfilling his zimmedari, he says it many times, probably why he can't get rid of Haya. He doesn't abandon his relations. I can see why he won't chase her down, he has always respected her wishes in their marriage. That Ma Aap ki kasam has to pay off to, if she leaves him he might self exile too. He might go to the village and vow not to return till Meerab is back.

I used to watch the show few months back and that too not continuously. Then I felt that there was too much drama and stopped watching.

That can very well trigger her abandonment issues, if he asks her to leave. She is impulsive enough to take much stupider decisions then, case in reference, her saying yes to their marriage. She didn't take any time after Waqas shut the door on her and immediately announced her decision the next morning. She can hide her pregnancy in impulse.

Meerab will never be in favour of Maryam's marriage with Malik Zubair but Murtasim will have to go ahead with it. I think she will help Maryam in running away with the guy she loves. That is when Murtasim will be done. Done.

He will let her go but obviously they both suffer. Yes, I don't think he can live a moment of peace until he knows Meerab is fine, so maybe he makes attempts to find her.
