That's because she can't, even if she tried. Deepika is terrible at accents. She has never been able get past her thick south Indian one no matter what character she plays; doing a fake one for American audiences is out of question.
Hahah yes I kinda agree. That’s also a way of looking at it. Tbh I do appreciate how she doesn’t put on an accent while speaking but her overall twang or that very accent is the biggest hurdle while she is delivering dialogues in films.Originally posted by: JeanieBeanie
