Also it depends on the TRP. If it works he will stay., If not he leaves..

Some hospitals have a strict dressing code. My husband, when he was a surgery resident, was not allowed to wear anything other than formal shoes even when he has sores from standing too long. On the other hand, I generally just wore scrubs and crocs at my workplace. My friend used to come in trackpants and a hoodie, which I found distasteful, but noone ever called him out.
