Aree - when you wrote them, I'm sure it seemed like they had some level of depth and genuine chemistry onscreen; you had no idea then that these characters would be twisted beyond recognition into nightmare-ish versions of their previous selves. But I do get it. I wrote one recently on them but I don't think I have it in me to write any more on this show - it feels like you just can't work with these characters...

Well twitter is going gaga over their Maan & todays scene

To them Maan is more perfect than Romeo & Juliet 🤪

Maan had some chemistry when Anuj entered & we thot finally Anu will get a strong partner & trump VanRat

Instead we got a loser businessman who dances around like a lost puppy if his wife isn’t telling him what to do. Once AK was ruined all of Maan lost its charm

Now it’s very obvious they are pushing Maan for those senile twitter fans & trp

RG looks like she is just going thru the motions. Like she couldn’t care less tbh. And my god why does this lady need to keep dancing . She is just awful. No grace, no rhythm

When Maan try to act all romantic, it falls flat. The fire from their relationship was doused long back. It’s like trying to light a fire with wet logs..pointless

Wholeheartedly agree that given their circumstance in the story, it is hard to make sense of a romantic scene that is forced in. It is indeed very awkward.

However, for some viewers as noted above, Anupama looks fake and they watch it only for GK.

Some watch it for both, because they genuinely feel Anupama needs to be happy even if it means for a short while.

Some choose not to watch at all because as noted above, it makes no sense in the story or their charm has worn off completely. Different folks, different strokes.

I totally agree. I find both of them snooze feast at beast, puke worth.🤢🤢🤢.

Both look so forced together a couple now. Even more when they try to act like a family with Choti, especially Anu.🤢

At this point, I could care less about them more about a mother taking her bio-child and leaving. CA deserve a life with her bio-mom where she will be center of attention not one where she has to wait to be included. These two idiots don’t even deserve to have pets. They will neglect them as well.

Let Maya and CA move on from them.

Part of the thing might be that the only thing these two seem to have in common or ever seem to talk about is the Shah family. Or now the adoption track. I wished the writers explored more of Anupama and Anuj’s own identities separate from Shah issues.
