I only browsed an episode here or there, because Asha Shelar had been so good in Hoṇāra Sūna Mī Hyā Gharacī as the sympathetic villain. I did not find Khulatā Kaḷī Khulenā watchable, but it's there for whoever wants it.

I enjoyed the part of Sundarā Manāmadhe Bharalī when Abhimanyu aroused Latika's self-confidence, and they became friends, and the part when Abhimanyu had lost Latika and was trying every way to convince her that he was right for her. The part when Abhimanyu kept his love hidden, ignoring how stressful it was for Latika, was irritating. Their story after Latika's drunken I-love-you (Divāḷī 2021) was nonsensical relentless punishment for the audience. Right now, the show is a lesson on unromantic writing, with some supporting characters giddily matchmaking Latika with Devavrat while others are maniacally plotting against them, but Latika doesn't show the slightest forbidden attraction to Devavrat.

Jīva Zhālā Yeḍāpisā was an atypical romance that began with real, justified hatred, not cute sparring-and-sparking, and it maintained resentment and distrust even when the couple felt lonely and mutually attracted. It took months for the couple to accept each other and begin to heal. There were flaws in the storytelling (such as the forcible marriage's nonsensical premise, the male lead never maturing, and the female lead existing only to analyze the male lead), but the acting was intense!

Tujhyāta Jīva Raṅgalā had a romance that was slyly entertaining in spite of being between innocent and wholesome characters.

yeh i didn't like khulta kali khulena where both doesn't meet at end and evil wins. i like only title song to watch coz of its sandwork. just like that i like title song of sukhachya sarini he man bawre again jiv zala yeda pisa i liked title song din't watch show much

i liked to watch abhi lati till she win competition so one can watch till that

Swami is the first show that comes to my mind when Marathi and Romance are mentioned in the same sentence. Swami was historical romance between Ramabai and Madhavrao. It is on Youtube

As @mpp123 pointed out, Zoka was TV show on ETV marathi , featuring Sunil Barve, Amruta Subhash. To my best knowledge, Zoka is not available anywhere.

Disclaimer: I have not watched Zoka but it gained a lot of traction when it was released,

Avantika is another TV show but it is more of more of a drama

Savar Re was a TV show on ETV Marathi, it was a May-December romance between a younger guy and older woman, if I recall correct.

I am surprised more people have not chimed in with their own recommendations

yeh ditto have same thoughts in my mind swami was beautiful romantic yet historical saga

rau was also but i didn't like mastani over kashibai

zoka was beautiful show and its title song too sad that not available

I understand with new hot content but I cant see the logic behind not making these OLD marathi serials available on YouTube US when they are already available in India..Hopefully they learn from Star and make it available soon

I guess the reason behind removing them from ZEE5 is cost cutting.. Its expensive to own and manage storage...so they might not want to do it for old serials.. There is no cost to uploading them on YouTube, in fact they earn some money for views.

Oh that is why Star started uploading most of the old shows on YouTube. That makes perfect sense. Free popularity and TRP as well at YouTube.
hulu, and other digital platforms are strictly US base.

I tried to access it out of country but could not. it was blocked. So most of the digital are region base.
Zee has gone up in pricing here.

Can someone recommend good Marathi shows on Star YT in the US

Some shows I have enjoyed Jhulun Yeti Resham Gathi ( very cute romance)but more of a family show like EKDG and EKTG

I am currently watching Jivachi Hotiya ....on YT

I missed out on Rau and Zoka but Swami was a wonderful show, it is one of those few adaptations that were as good as the book . Mrinal Dev, before she became Mrinal Kulkarni and Ravindra Mankani were perfect as Ramabai and Madhavrao Peshwa.

yes it was the show which done total justice with book. and that song was beautiful. Mrinal dev, it was her first show i guess and she was very young at the time she had narrated in one interview may be at time of release of rama madhav movie how her first shot taken just one two gimples while she had to get ready wearing all jewelry n nineyard saree

rau is also with manoj joshi, smita talwalkar, ashwini bhave acting it was asmita chitra production but i don't like mastani.

kuch khoya kuchh paya was on another show based on navel padhghavli and had beautiful title song sung by lata mangeshkar

another one was fulwati with archana joglekar arun gohil n savita prabhune which i liked these two are hindi show but produced by lata mangeshkar production

I watched only a few episodes of Phulwati , I never liked Archana Joglekar much, however I loved her Pan Pasand ad .

I remember the last scene where Ramabai goes Sati, though I am not sure if the final scene was shown in the TV adaptation.

i think that was lata mangeshkar production they must have its video title song was also sung by her

i liked show and coz of story and all things and songs also beautiful as that was also mangeshkar production

i use to like all panpasand ads😆
