Yes since they are in India and Veer mentioned that he is going to fight a war which is actually British and also in TVD damon did fought a war ...

But here since it's Indian show they shouldn't have sticked to what Katherine and Damon and Stefan had in the show but instead Kavya should have worn a saree and the guys a armaani sherwani

Atleast scenes mein todha changes laaye ..instead of actually copying scene to scene
