That's highly unlikely. Before Neev and Ayesha's wedding Prachi and Millind hardly met. In fact, Millind wasn't even a prominent character. He was Ayesha's love interest and occasionally graced the screen by beating Aalap to the pulp which was so well deserved.

Nothing against Shabbir as an actor. But if the makers were so fearful of audiences' rejection, they should have established Millind-Prachi from the beginning; not the way they did it in the show.

After Prachi and Milinda got married people loved their chemistry, that's why they became the main couple. Yes the promos were about Prachi and Neev and they would have stayed the main couple but they had no chemistry and were quite boring, prachi and Milinda were spicy and their scenes had chemistry 👌

I won't comment on Milind-Prachi, coz I have not watched the show post their marriage to form any judgement on them.

However, it is very much not true that Neev and Prachi had NO chemistry. They did, from the first episode itself, which is why they are fondly remembered by fans till date. Since Neev and Prachi were childhood bestfriends, Neev knew Prachi better than she knew herself and vice versa. They had a lot of trust and understanding, and even though their personalities were poles apart, and on the surface Neev might joke around, but he genuinely cared for her from his heart, and Prachi also complemented that by giving him stability. Maybe it is just my belief, but the best kinda love stems from friendship.

Also, in all honesty, if the story post her dad's death was written better, Neev-Prachi would have had more facets and not seem so vanilla. Moreover, 3/4 of their wedding was done, if they did not pick up that call, they would legit have been married. In '00s iTV sense, that means they would have then been bound together for eternity 🥺

All we needed is a repeat of this kind of scene, where Prachi could be honest with Neev about Ayesha, and everything would have been sorted 🙈

A reboot gives a chance to explore Neev and Prachi differently and for them to get their own new happy ending. That happened in KZK2 for Anurag and Prerna 🤗

Also, like I said above, everyone should get a fair chance to have their own choice in terms of jodis. Neev and Prachi were my very first iTV OTP, so the emotional attachment to them makes me root for them only, no matter what the endgame. I respect your preference if you respect mine 😇🧿

I have been waiting forever for someone to echo the same sentiment.

I have read analysis on both the couple that Neev was convenient and cute but Millind was raw and intense. However, I beg to differ.

Having seen some of the Millind-Prachi scenes I can only say Millind himself wasn't necessarily a bad person. He had genuine reasons for hating Prachi's family and I can understand why he always felt so inferior to Neev. It must have been hard for him to see Neev around when he knew Neev and Prachi were childhood best friends and Prachi's habit of hiding important details from him didn't help them either.

But in all fairness, that doesn't make his character superior to Neev or the on-screen chemistry better. The actors were good, they looked good on screen together but that is true for Neev and Prachi as well.

What made them superior as a couple to me was despite facing the worse, Neev never ever manhandled Prachi, stood by her side even when their ideology was different. and most importantly, he knew Prachi better than anyone and was loyal to her from the beginning till the end. If that's not true love than I don't know what it is.

Intensity can be found even in the purest, most innocent form of love. They had shown enough progression and I believe if they had gotten married and faced their issues together, they could have delivered more impactful scenes.

Not a fan of KZK 2 but I would definitely want Prachi to fulfill her vows to Neel in some other cinematic universe. My only regret will be not seeing Panchi Bora and Jay Bhanushali in their respective roles because they were simply perfect for their respective characters. 😭 😭 😭

Neev was always prodding Prachi even during that track to trust him, but she never did 🤔

I always feel like Neev deserved better if Prachi really moved on with Milind, he should have been allowed to move on and find someone who could love him just as much as he did 🥺
