SLB indeed seems obsessed with concubines, prostitutes, sex workers, second or third wives, 1 woman in love with 2 men or 2 women in love with one man or so or so called forbidden relationships like lusting after someone else's wife.

After Khamoshi, all his work has become predictable. Khamoshi is so different that it does not seem like a Bhansali film. So is Black.

I am fed up of seeing harems or kotha in his films.

I wish he tried more different stuff like Black or Khamoshi.

Or maybe something lighter and less intense for a change?

I have seen in Gangubai also, that opulence was merely to draw in the crowds. He managed to get the facts right even there.

Have to give him credit where it's due -- he's a great storyteller.

Exactly. There's nothing wrong in making them look elegant and rich. Like you said, crowd puller.

It doesn't have to be all Gore and disturbing.

He never shied away from showing the disturbing reality of gangubai or even in devdas.

They all look so bad.
