Baapu ji is the root cause of all problems...

And here is why I think so...

First of all after the divorce happened....he made Anupama stay at the Shah House.....who does that.....He should have let anupama leave and make a new life for herself......but no Anupama stayed back....stayed back in the same house where her ex husband is living with his current wife whom he had cheated on Anupama with.....Imagine the pain and horror of seeing them together every day..not to forget how man Kavya was to Anupama then...

So Anupama the ex bahu has been designated the beti and goes back to doing the stuff she was doing before...cooking, cleaning, doing sewa of Baa and Bapuji...

Anuj ki entry....and now the Buddhe ko sanak chadh gayi ki Anupama ki shaadi issi ghar se hogi....I mean who does that.....she is not your beti...she is your son's ex.....uski shaadi iss ghar se kyon karn hai.....kitna drama hua between Anuj and Vanraaj....everyone was forced to attend the marriage ......

The Shah family never got to see Anupama as an independent person or a divorcee.....for them Anupama was always there....

I feel Bapuji in his stupidity ruined and messed up the already messed up relationships..

He is a very clever man! Far from the adjectives mentioned.

He is certainly responsible but not because of his stupidity. All of it is intentional. I have always thought he's a far bigger enemy than mawaali Jhuli because at least she is evil on the face while he works slyly behind the scenes and gives fake consolation at the end of the tamashah. As far as AnupaMaid is concerned, he has been nothing but sweet poison in her life

Bapuji or baa will continue to get her go back to SH house some reason or the other. It is high time Anupama thinks for herself instead of getting carried away each time. Anupama is not a child to easily get biased. Why is she letting others take her for a ride/manipulate endlessly? If it happened once or twice we can blame it on others or circumstance. But the same thing repeats over and over again, unless she is determined to stop it.

Actually he steps in at the opportune moment when the bahu slave (whether it be Kavya or Kinjal or Anuj or the maid) has been insulted or wronged by his wife/son, to assuage them so that they forget the anger and let it go. And the situation is never analysed at an individual level. He just pretends to be on their side but as a so called patriarch, he is spineless and has zero say in anything for all his claims of support.

As far as AnupaMaid is concerned, he has brainwashed and manipulated her since years. He's aware that she's essentially a work mule who will serve his lousy worthless no good clan who can't do a thing themselves. Not to say that she's not at fault but both facets can be true together

He is problematic, I agree. What idiot ex-daughter in-law agrees to stay in martial home after her divorce? Could she not say no, was she being forced to stay there? Was there a gun to her head?

Her mother’s house wasn’t far. She could have moved back there. Her mother wanted her too. She still could have visited the kids.

I blame the ex-daughter in-law more for not standing up for herself. If she had no respect for herself then why will they give her any. If she is willing to bend over backward still, why would anyone give her the respect she deserves?. I have no respect or sympathy for this woman.

I find her appalling and I am disgusted by her.🤢 No divorced 45-something. Mother, grandmother with 2nd marriage, I know acts like her. She makes me sick.🤢

Isko jab Naa kehna hota hai to pure haq se bolti hai. Dont we remember she refused to stay in the same resort after divorce even after baa snatched her hand ??

It's funny but once in an episode even VanRaj and Kavya said ki kisi Ko agar sach mein jana ho to wo chupchap bhi nikal jata hai magar yah aurat to pura drama karke hi jaati hai family ko ekattha karke. And i totally agree to that !!
