Try kathiawadi..it isn't sweet..u will like it.

And Gujarati food as such isn't as sweet as u find in restaurants..these eateries have taken the sweetness as USP of Gujarati cuisine n overdo it ...while traditionally it just has a tinge of jaggery to balance the taste. If u have a gujju friend try home cooked meals

My spice tolerance is probably lower that VK’s, one reason why I never enjoyed even Saloni/Kolhapuri food. Kathiawadi is spicy right?

Actually I have been to many Gujarati households and its not just the sweet but the spices don't sit well with me either.

I love rotli-ras in the summers tho ❤️ And fafda-jalebi 😆

Depends on the place u eat..go by reviews of the restaurant..else also ask for white butter and jaggery as sides
