KATHA, THE STEREOTYPICAL CLUELESS ML OF INDIAN TV !!!!!! - Page 2

I have major conflicts with how Viaan is total in guilt mode and Kathaa is well guilt free after blaming Viaan for the Con (consummation, ONS whatever you call it, I call it Con). I mean I am not saying Viaan was not at fault for putting up terms but Kathaa was equally at fault for accepting his terms. It’s the same problem I had with that Hum aap ke dil mein rehete hai movie where Kajol accepts Anil’s marriage contract in return for money and favours. But the moment he decides to enforce the terms of the contract she starts blaming him and acting high and mighty.

Anyways… coming to Ehsan and Katha why would you agree to go on a yatch with your boss and drag your child who you know doesn’t like this person’s company is beyond me.

Cv’s need to bring Viaan out of his guilt mode asap or if not then put Kathaa in atleast a bit of guilt. It’s becoming too much to watch only Viaan going through this. They need to start churning out some good scenes between Katha and Viaan the awkwardness between them both will be a perfect base.

Yuvraaj’s wife (I forgot her name) is soon going to start Kathaa remarriage andolan I feel.

Cv’s i feels are missing out on golden opportunities to given us good main lead scenes and are only interested in stuffing the episodes with other drama. I mean yes we don’t mind the drama side by side but they can dedicate a couple of episode to the leads I am sure.

I don't think the show has lost its charm bcoz the flaws it contains right now were always there.

And yes i agree that everyone's taste is different and not necessary that everyone likes the same thing

I never liked the cancer track and overdose of Katha Aarav because i found it unrealistic and i dont think they captured it well

Honestly i dont think Katha handled it in a right way

Had she been to her in laws sooner the MIL would have convinced FIL

And that whole suicide plan was really bizarre

The whole monkey monkey irritated me a lot even with a charismatic actor like Aditi

Having said that i know many people liked the cancer track

Coming to Vian's character i like the progression shown there and his current behavior falls in line with whatever has happened recently.He is not a victim here but he is really feeling guilty and when he begged for forgiveness he was told he is paapi ,he cant show his face to god and if he has gairat he should not forgive himself so he definitely feels he is a molester this all awkwardness and behaving like this is a result of that only ,he is normal with others .i m sure awkwardness will fade out with time when Katha will start behaving well with him.

As for the Ehsan's track i dont like this character at all ,right now it is the worst thing in the show and not because he is after Katha but mainly for being a terrible dosti k naam pe blot

I despise anyone who betrays a friend like that ,its a thing for me

But if we think about it he is helping the show progress

Also i m prepared for the love track ahead

and i know its not going to be passionate pull and pinning against the wall and other ITV things bcoz it cant be

Whatever viaan has gone through in terms of character changes (i would like to call it character development) is because the jolt he got as the lightening bolt named katha struck him. He was sent on guilt trip, he was called monster, apparently he don't have any chance to go in swarg after death, he will burn in hell fire because he is biggest paapi of the century. ( Her own mistakes conveniently forgotten)

And because he is genuinely sorry, he accepted all those charges put on him. Its so engraved in his mind that he finds happiness in every little thing he can do for mother india like helping her in finding the child. He is scared of her as if she will turn into Durga maa and open her third eye to burn him🤣 He thinks he failed her and now he is too guilty to even look into her eyes. Man with that amount of guilt will take time to come out of it and be normal around katha, the very person who has made him realize all his paaps.

So viaan will take his own sweet time to come out of it. Makers are dealing it well. If he goes all aashiq aawara for katha suddenly then it will look odd actually.

Also in this case : Acc to me Vian was wrong in proposing ONS ,once Katha accepts it he cant be blamed for going through it,( although i really want to only why he went ahead ) because after Katha's acceptance it becomes a deal only

i had issues with Vian chasing katha after ONS ,i used to wonder will they show him apologizing again and again like this only stalking her but thank god he stopped

And now scared rabbit he is.i m sure this phase will end

Vian has the best character development and katha is one dimensional ,show ka name sach me Vian Unsuna hona chahiye.

Last point regarding katha ka behavior with Ehsan

Its so dumb of her to actually to not understand this

On top of that she is dancing with the head of the company ,going for dinners ,having lunch

I mean its irritating bcoz it is very unprofessional

Normal office me ye sab behavior pe warning bhi mil jaati h

Acc to me she is only little bit higher than other dumb FLs of ITV
