In his conversation with Haya he said "abhi usse mohabbat nahi hui hai but woh bhi ho jaegi." I found it a bit weird that Haya didn't ask him about his feelings. Wouldn't she like to know what he feels for her........and Murtasim is always saying ye meri biwi hai that's why we have to be together etc etc, i haven't heard the word pyaar used by him for Merab. It's like he has compromised with the situation and is now more than happy to have a marital relationship because he is attracted etc. but I have never heard him say ki mohbbat hai ya feelings hai from his side that's why he wants the marriage to work.

Exactly. Murtu ke dil main abhi bhi mohabbat ne dastak nahi dihain. Uski sui "meri biwi" par atki hain. I dunno whether he is faking to take revenge for wedding beizatti. Although it would make the show interesting, I don't think it will go with his character's MO. But ost male version ke lyrics itne khatarnak hain mujhe kuch nahi samajh araha...

Murtasim for now doesn't love meerab .he is just attracted . There's sympathy yes , but i guess the contract here plays a great role .

But , How ?

In the sense , you are always more attracted to forbidden fruit right ! And that is happening to him right now . By placing the contract , meerab didn't do herself good . Instead , made Murtasim crave herself more . As a man , that thing is constantly in his mind . Proved by dialogues like -

" Keh bhi nahi sakta , seh bhi nahi sakta "

Him reading a book called " rights of husband on wife "

Though it's not all . Like girls love badboys , troubled boys . Mature and sensible men like him likes bratty girls . You know , you can say he has daddy syndrome . Murtasim in a way want to reform her , control her , twist her to his own ways .

At this point , it is clear he is not faking it . He just has turned soft for her , that's all . I know it sucks , but in the name of progression of feelings from murtasim's side - we are only getting long long hours of staring and unblinking eyes🙄😅😂

Allow me to correct myself, misogyny is not just an undertone in the show, it is totally in your face. We just ignore it due to Wahaj's pretty chehra 😆 Even in the teaser for episode 15, Murtasim is asking the girl to do whatever he says. He should be smart enough to know that his wife is a rebellious brat. Jo naa bolega voh pehle karegi 😆
