I also thought Indian women were super strong. Songs picturized in snow had the guys wearing sweaters and the women sleeveless blouses with very thin sarees later the thin sarees were replaced with skimpy clothes, but the guys remained clad in warm clothes

Once my parents were watching Jab We Met and I started watching with them later on. When kareena kissed shahid, they realized I didn't study that day and started lecturing me. But the film was over anyway. 🤷🏻♀️

Except for Vinod Khanna, I’m judging him. Amitabh was ugly AF when he was young. 🤣
Lmao, yeh well, for him, a hero is basically someone who looks good and has got a good height. 🤣
He also thinks the overacting in those old movies is better than today. 🤣🤣

I cannot emphasize just how stressful it always is to watch any type of kissing/intimate scenes with your parents. One of the most stressful moments in life and is not talked about enough. Any time a kissing scene comes on in a movie, I always have to wonder if I should look around as if I'm all of a sudden amazed by my surroundings. Like oh wow!!! THAT is our ceiling? Now, that's an AMAZING ceiling. Never noticed before. Or I should simply act like I've been asleep the whole time and missed it???
Or of course, when these two options start looking too fake, I can always grab my head like they do dramatically in movies, and start circling and then faint and start playing dead. I can hold my breath for a good amount of time.

I had "gajar ka halwa" yesterday and it reminded me of this cute conversation with my sister, who loves Bollywood movies as much as I do... 😳
My sis and I watching (forced to watch, because mum refuses to part with the remote) some silly movie with our mum.
Scene: Male lead at the dining table, his reel mother gets "gajar ka halwa"
Lame ML: Areeey maaaaa, tumhe kaise pata mujhe gajar ka halwa bahot pasand hai?
Le me: (rolling my eyes) abey ghochu, teri maa ko nahin pata hoga toh kya padosi ki maa ko pata hoga?
Le my sis: picchle movie mein alag maa thi naah, isiliye he is wondering, iss maa ko kaise pata
Le our real mom: (reaching for her chappal) dafaa ho jao, let me watch the movie
Please share your memories... 🤗
Thanks for the tag 😆 hmm
Badlapur I watched this scene with my mom/dad

After a traumatic event, my father now double-checks for any adult content in web series or movies that the entire family will be watching together 😆
Just last week, he was stopping us from putting Kai Po Che on after seeing the A grade rating 😂 we had to persuade him that it’s a decent movie & that Netflix was just being overly cautious about Amit & Sushshant’s shirtless shots 😂

HAHAHAH. Omg. I am always having to double and triple check too. But something weird happened when I was watching Shershah with my mom. Sid and Kiara were doing a little 😳☺️ with each other and my mom says to me "see how beautiful life can be with a husband?" 🤣!!! This was so much worse than pretending we aren't seeing them kissing 😕
