Yes they have. Though sony channel is not known for such interference but still channel's creative head keeps tab on all shows.

Sitara is more interfering, they even pressurize makers to bring a certain track.

And rangeela is worse of all. They allow the show but in middle changes its complete story, characters and even other technical team if they feel like.

There's some other key issue with Colors programming & management team that some of us have been observing recent years when compared to how other hindi GEC's function, and its annoying as this channel is from Viacom part of a big biz house & they can't continue in unprofessional manner like this for long. 👎🏼

When they launch a new fiction serial whether its finite or NOT first rangu team has to learn to set a fixed time slot for 3-4 months for viewers to get drawn into any NEW serial & promote it properly, 😳what time a serial starts, ends, how much is episode duration 16/21/25/30/45 or 60 mins? is it with ads or ads free? when time slot changes are viewers even informed in advance?

What's the point in launching new fiction serials by rangu almost every month? when basic research of who's the target audience for a given concept, story or genre isn't worked out well to allot suitable time slots to build core viewership accordingly? also taking into account competition. Irony is we can't always blame a PH or TV viewers or concepts not working out, when serials are pulled off abruptly which is quite common with colors, but here channels functioning itself isn't proper..
