What could Maaya's majboori be?

I feel she was imprisoned or convicted of some crime, maybe her husband wanted to kill CA as she was a girl and in a bid to protect her she ended up killing him as a result of which she ended up in jail. That could explain why her past isn't public and she isn't revealing much about herself.

I want her past to be very sympathetic so it can be a slap on Anuj's face for all the accusations and taunts he had been directing towards her.

Extreme poverty can force a parent to drop their at an institution but not from staying away from them or visiting them. I feel she may have been in jail, if not that then she was probably trying to protect Choti by keeping her existence a secret.

I wonder what dirt Ankush and Barkha found out about her that Anuj is planning to use against her.

Maybe Maaya was jailed when she gave birth and the child was immediately shifted to a foster home, but that doesn't explain how she suddenly got so rich after she got out (I am guessing inherited property)

That does count as a shameful incident but maybe she will explain the reasons for it and get back on the sympathy bandwagon.

She has already clarified that she couldn't stop CA from being taken away by MaAn because she was hospitalized after an accident.

Other possible explanations are that CA could be a a r*p*child or that his father died before CA was born.

I think Maaya was taken advantage of due to her poverty. Maybe she agreed to spend the night with someone for money due to being so poor & was caught by police for prostitution. She was pregnant & had to give up the baby as she was unwed

I think she became rich eventually but it was on shady terms

I also wonder if Mohit & Maaya are actually together & in on some scheme. It’s strange they are making Kavya, in her 30s, this super model. Most models are discovered in their teens. This is a way to potentially spy on the family
