The episode he tried to apologize was sooo amazing. The acting and emotion was top notch. But I feel like I would prefer the episodes to come starting from this search for Aarav more because they would be building on the love story of the two now
Its tough to chose between dark night and apology episodes.
Dark night showed the vulnerability of katha and apology showed the repentance of viaan. Both had amazing performances from the actors.
If dark night marks the starting of their relationship in a way then apology was that turn in right direction from where their impossible relationship seems possible.
Whatever we keep saying in Viaan's defence but the truth is that he has made terrible mistake and without him apologising and repenting it would have been very difficult for us also to ship them together. So, I guess apology episode connected me more to the show.
Apology episode.. Viaan's shame, guilt and realization that he's become who he hates the most was shown so well and Katha's dialogues (except a few) were very good.. the way she pointed out exactly where he went wrong.. too good 👍🏼.. very powerful episode..

very very well explained.
It's a tough choice between the dark night and the apology episode. But i chose the DARK NIGHT. I don't think i will ever forget that episode in my life. I still remember each scenes of the episode. The fear, the helplessness in Katha's face and the whole awkward moment with that background music. it still gives me goosebumps.
The apology episode was also good and much needed. Adnan was too good in that episode.

The goosebumps factor is so true Nabni. Even I found it difficult to choose between apology and the dark night episode, and for reasons similar to you, I chose the dark night. Of course, I think that the feelings, emotions portrayed in this episode was so important (I mean it's why the whole drama exists), but I chose it for the way the episode was directed and how the actors executed it. I have seen the scene in all the versions (turkish, arabic, hindi), and I personally loved the hindi version of the scene the most. I think that it's extremely difficult to portray a disturbing scene in a sensitive manner, and the lighting, direction, acting won it for me. Adnan's soft gestures truly showcased the scene in a respectful way and not cheap at all. I'm not whitewashing the incident, but considering that the leads do fall in love eventually, I think the scene did a great job indicating that.
I saw a clip in twitter. It was Viaan apologising to Katha for his mistake. That is what attracted me to the show, pulled me here and made me watch the previous 35 episodes!
that will be my favourite ❤️
As everyone here is saying it's difficult to choose between dark night and apology epi.. I choose the dark night mainly because the scene felt so real at that time as we were is a lot of confusion if it will happen or not.. We all were clueless and anticipating the future restlessly.
The emotions that i myself felt as if I were in her place and the anxiety, fear, racing heart everything I was feeling with her, going through every emotions equally with her.. I first time connect with an itv scene with this much involvement... So that episode felt very personal to me...That is why I go for the dark night.
And also it was the epi which was the base or foundation on which the whole show is built. It is the main plot, it has to be the one...
The dark night for me.
That one scene made me invested in the story and Katha-Viaan’s character so much
Wasn’t watching ITV for a very long time and that one scene made me so intrigued in their story.
I agree this one night forms the base of the whole story and the execution of same was top notch

Bold- Exactly same thing happened to me. First time an ITV scene made me so emotional and so involved . I hvn't come out of that scene yet. I am still stuck there.😭
