Forget Lucknow in Mumbai there are numbers of theatres with only 20 to 30% occupancy.

Mumbaikars take leave on Friday and go on a extended vacation. In my apartment complex half of them are visiting relatives in Gujrat. These guys love movies. Timing of release is wrong.

Yeah where the tickets are priced less say around 80 bucks then 100% occupancy is possible not when you have to shell out 800 rs per head and 500 for a tub of popcorn.

Last month some movie saw here on forum they did Sucess party before even release...😆

In desperate mode people start doing weird things😆

In a city like Lucknow friday shows were all available. And even for weekend Saturday shows only one theatre (single screen, novelty lalbagh) shows shows in orange and red. What gives? I'm genuinely interested in how this works... and I'm not claiming anything... Just genuinely interested in how this happens that shows are empty yet popularised as housefull and blockbusters... Most the the prime time shows i checked had very few booked seats..
