However, the trailer looks good, and peeps might relate. Also, Mallu movies are not super relatable to Hindi belt because of cultural differences, so they might watch remake rather than original.

Akshay signed with Dharma or something. I think this movie is going to do better than his 2022 movies but he's already done 2 movies like this one, especially Good Newwz.

Mai khiladi tu anari song is also remade

Emraan 's role seems good.

Peeps are willing to come out to the theaters to watch an entertaining film. This one seems to fit the bill. And I hope it puts KJo's silly theory to rest.

Unfortunately, he still won't do original stories.

Looks fun. I genuinely laughed at the volume badhao scene. Hope there is more comedy in the movie than what they showed in the trailer but looking forward to the music!

Because of the comments I finally watched the trailer...it doesn't seem that they have much changed except the repeatedly expressed wish for a selfie. I somehow prefer the original title "Driving Licence" because the main point of the movie is that the Fan will be helpful to a star he admires but the star totally misinterprets the situation and does something very hurtful.

Yes, I think, Selfie can become a success also in the Hindi version because of the - imo - very good Malayalam story (like it happened with the Drishyam Hindi remakes).
