Honestly, nothing wrong with population growth. Most of India is in the Valeriepeiris circle. Poor people and developing people are unfairly shamed for the population crisis (Malthusian population theories have been debunked by most economists and population scientists.)
- Despite a high population, India's per capita carbon footprint is much lower. A single person in many western nations produces a carbon footprint than multiple families in countries like India.
- There is no food shortage/crisis in the world. There actually is a grain/dairy surplus.
- Food shortages and crisis happen because of
a) Food wastage by affluent people and developed nations
b) Expensive and inefficient supply chain issues
c) Disappearance of indigenous farming and foraging
d) Wealthy nations that would rather destroy/waste surpluses than allow surpluses to drive down prices
e) Corporate conglomerates that force monoculture productions
and so much more.
I just read the article, it has some good news too
"India the third-largest economy in Asia is currently self-sufficient in food production. In terms of rice, wheat, and sugar production, it ranks second. While being the leading importer of edible oils, it is also the largest consumer of sugar( that's NOT good news)
. India is the third-largest market for the purchase of crude oil, the second-largest consumer of steel and gold. In addition, it is the third-largest domestic aviation market in the world."
And 50 % of population is under 30 yr old
BTW India's population is 50 lakh more than China's 141.2 crore declared by China on January 17, when there was the first fall since the 1960s, according to official announcements.
Can you really trust any official announcement coming out of China?
Not only out of China 😃
Films like Helmet, Janhit mein jaari aren't working which were spreading the message to use condoms, how can we expect same audience to control. We are on a race where in future every 4th person will be Indian only.
A loooot of ground work to do...not with movies!
