I don't know...Shershaah got more acclaim for the plot. Uri was for Vicky itself along with the plot. That kind of OTT stardom has followed Vicky in a way it hasn't with Sid. Sid was also atrocious in his other films like Thank God this year. Vicky at his worst isn't as bad.

Lol URI was a theatrical release and a huge hit. But Shershah was released during Covid times. It got a lot of traction compared to most other movies. It is safe to say it would have at the very least been a semi-hit in theaters or average at the very least.

Yes because he hasn't managed to improve all these years so he will get once in a while success like Shershah with a moderately competent director and continue to flop otherwise.

I saw the promo if his next movie, which is also going to be dumped on OTT.

His, acting reminded me of his previous movies before Shershaah.

So I am forced to say it's fluke.

Note : Credit should also be given to the director of that movie for a good overall output. It's just not only about Sid

Sometimes I wonder if those who generalise the performances of an actor/actress REALLY have watched all the movies themselves or mostly relate on trailers and reviews and simply repeat other people's opinion.

As for Sidharth, I liked his performances also in other movies I've watched.

Amen ! He needs more good scripts but def has some raw potential!
