Was Shershaah just a fluke?

Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God flopped and his upcoming movies like Mission Majnu and that cop drama with Rohit Shetty went straight to OTT….so what’s happening to Sid’s career?

More like, was Siddhart a fluke. Shershah had great music, direction, camerawork, and most important, great story. It wasn't a biopic for the sake of it, the people behind the camera knew that this would be a tribute to a soldier and got it right.

Comedy isn't for Sid. He does this wierd confused face which was throughout the movie and he had to be annoyed but make it funny annoyed and couldn't pull it off. They say comedy is the toughest to act genre and anger is the easiest expression to act, maybe that's true for Sid.

It's great that he is exploring though and not sticking to one genre/character trait.

Sher Shah was good movie hence worked.

Thank God was bekaar actually. Hence didn't worked. Even if it was someone else than siddarth it would not have worked.

Hard to say Shershaah actually worked or not...It was an ott release.Sid was tremendous in it but he is back to being a floppy post the huge acclaim.Now it seems his act was just a fluke 😳

Shershaah was basically his Neerja.

Shershah was a good movie that had elements of romance, sacrifice and loss

My crystal ball says Brahmashastrra was just a fluke too FOD

Mission Majnu will be an OTT release. There's no way to gauge how well it will perform toh kahe ka superhit

Siddharth is a limited-range actor. He needs the right director and script to shine.
